  1. Strongly disagree . I watch the show but live 530 Km from the nearest theatre. It would suck to have to wait 6 months or spend hundreds of dollars to have to go see it. I think that when the tv show dies it will certainly hurt the comic popularity and see decrease sales. I have probably 40-50 friends who watch the show but dont collect or read the comics myself included. I think about shows like x-files, lost and a few other huge shows. X-files is back but don't seem to have picked up many new viewers and old returning viewers seem to be losing interest fast, myself included . Series die and new ones replace them.
  2. Shipping kills me. Shipping to Canada for one Wizard $29. Even if I could afford it I wouldn't pay that much for shipping.
  3. My nearest comic shop is 1100 km away. We usually go there once a year, I always buy a 10 or so of old issues just for reading. I love looking back through at the pictures and articles. Never owned any of the first 10 issues. I would love to pick some up on eBay (ESP #1) but I have a low comic budget and shipping is always so high. One of these days I will get one.
  4. My collection is missing key comics (first app etc.) Back a few years ago we had a family emergency and I sold off all my key comics. Haven't had any extra cash since to pick up any key books.
  5. I am a big Punisher fan but never owned or read this comic . I have a small comic budget so it isn't a book I usually consider. I really need to try and find this one and a the first 5 issues.
  6. Beauty!!! Did a you read the story? How's is the story and art work, good? I would love to add one of these, not really in my collecting budget range but would love to add one sometime. Is there a cheaper version or is it just that one?

I am really enjoying the show and I thought mobdays final show was excellent. What happened to Victor? He was a huge part of the show and everything in the Final episode would likely be adverts if Victor was still there. Did I miss an episode where something happened to him?
  8. Magnus and Rai were my 2 favorite series. I remember how popular those were back in the day. I have a friend who paid $120 for Solar #10 and close to $200 each for Rai #3 and 4. The most I spend was $36 for Rai 0 and $40 for Rai #1. It was a fun and exciting time collecting comics, so many people with such an electric buzz surrounding the hobby with LCS and shows popping up everywhere. I love going out and buying these comics now for pennies on the dollar compared to what they once sold for.
  9. I am ashamed to admit that I have never read any Groo comics. I remember as a kid reading something that I assume was similar in the newspaper. Always wanted to read it, maybe I will buy a trade. Where would I start from, which comics should I buy to start from the beginning and how much will it cost (mid grades are fine).

I am still enjoying the show and now my 13 year old is also watching, great family hour.
  11. The Apr issue has beautiful colors, very nice congrats.
  12. He draws the female character very well and sexy, still don't understand why he can't draw a simple nose. Every character looks like they have a bad case of the sniffles or Rudolph is their dad.

I think a lot of the times comics, tv shows and movies are over analyzed.

No really liking Alfred so far, I'm sure there is a point behind the change. Just finished watching episode 2 again, really enjoying the series. Can't wait for 3. Penguin, James Gordan and Cat are all great so far.

At first it seemed like a really low budget show but after a little while I didn't even notice. I enjoyed the show and will continue to watch it.
  21. Beauties, really loving the DC Sgt Rock Digest what a great cover.

I am looking forward to it. Is it going to be on the regular Fox network? I was saying just a month or so ago that I wish there was a TV Batman series. I was thinking more along the lines of a series where Batman is full grown but this looks good. I think people get to caught up in movies and tv shows having to be exactly like the comics. I like that they change some stuff, makes it interesting and fresh. I wish people would have an open mind and give these a chance rather than give up on a show because of a some minor changes to the characters and stories. Next there needs to be a Spiderman one as well.
  23. Similar with athletes, after you meet them most of the time you walk away feeling very different about them. Most all the ones I have meet I lost some respect for them. I guess you can only sign so many autographs, shake so many hands and make some much small talk answering the same old questions before you tire of it. Some are great but most are arrogant jerks.
