Is season 3 available on dvd yet? Checked on ebay and there is only one person with it listed and they are a (0) feedback. I just bought and wathched season 1 and 2 and my wife, son and myself are hooked.

I bought the first 3 issues off the shelf but didn't really follow it. A few years ago I broke down and bought all the tp and the final issue. When I started reading I couldn't put it down. I read the entire series in 2 days. It was an excellent way to read it and I highly recommend it. If I were the last man at first I certainly would have had a lot more fun than yorick. I loved the series it is one of my favourites. I will certainly reread the series in a few years.

Don't get the show so I bought the first 2 seasons. I am almost through both seasons I even have my wife and son loving it. So far so good. I have the first collected book I guess I will have to start reading it again.

Awesome congrats. That is my #1 wanted book. I grew up reading Archie and the gang and I still read them 30 years later. Hopefully one day I can add it to my collection. I am very happy for you but a little jealous

After following the Bronze Horror thread I decided to read some of the titles. Here is the pile of books I received this week. I am about 50 pages into HOM book 1 and I am loving it. It is certainly different them my usual reading material.

Are those Tales Of The Zombie magazines good? Great covers, are the stories any good? Can I assume they are b/w?

So "The Witching Hour" showcase is worth getting? I waited a while to get the Witching Hour copy and definitely sweated. Word to the wise--grab 'em fresh! BTW, Weird War Tales was just released on 1/8. Get it cheap on Amazon!

Just bought some Showcase books House of Mystery 1 & 2, House of Secrets 1 & 2, Secrets Of Sinister House and Ghost. They didn't have The Witching Hour so I will have to find that one later. Found out that most of these are OP and getting hard to find just as Sterlingcomics mentioned. Can't wait for them to arrive so I can start reading.

I have the first 2 TOD and I agree they work great in BW format.

Have to admit I never read any of these books. The only Horror book I read is TOD but all these other I have never owned. Can someone give me a quick horror lesson. What is the idea behind each comic (HOM, HOS etc...)? Which are best? I remember reading one story posted somehwere here about an alien kid and at the end it turns out that the actually "Alien" was a human kid something along those lines. I really enjoyed the story and art work. So where should I start?

I didn't read any Western, Horror or War comics as a kid but now they are my favorites. I don't have much of a collection but I try and pick up as many reader copies as possible. I love this thread, it gives me an idea of which comic I should read and I love looking at all the amazing covers.

Nice WWP Whitman. I love those Whitman comics and for them to be so rare is an added bonus.

Just picked this one up, Popeye # 158. Not the highest grade but these are so rare I had to pick it up. Listed as the 3rd rarest Whitman comic (25-50 available) and rarely pops up FS. From 1980 whitman 3 packs, now I have 2 as I have the one I originally purchased in the pack as a kid. It is a really fun read.

I don't mind the barcode, its always been there so it just seems right to me . The ads are a different matter, they stick out like a sore thumb.

#1 is a comic I never owned or read, I guess I should pick one up and give it a read .

Is Vol 3 any good? Never read any of it.
