I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I never knew of this defect until today, which I discovered watching ComicTom101. I just checked my two copies, which both display the printing error. I either purchased them in Jacksonville, NC or Rochester, MN back in 1992 at LCSs.

The ashcan is smaller. It was posted by @Crops068 up thread but the image link isn't working anymore.
Thanks ygogolak.

Yeah, that's the one. I thought the dimensions for ashcans were smaller myself, as I've had a few like you mentioned, but many are the size of regular comics these days. I have several from Scout that are the same size as regular comics, only fewer pages.
Thank you, Lord Gemini for the clarification.

Dell’otto ASM 667 auction coming to a close soon on the bay.

I agree with all the comments concerning your anxiousness concerning your package. Give it some time. In the future, I recommend with USPS, choose Certified Mail. The packaging of the container is more time consuming, but well worth the effort in the end; e.g., all edges must be taped, not the typical Medium Fixed Rate box a lot of people use. I learned this first hand when I shipped out my SS Danger Girl CGC 9.6, Ruby Red Variant to be pressed and regraded. The postal worker explained to me the difference between regular mail and the benefit of using Certified Mail. Also, Certified Mail is handled differently; e.g., placed in secure cages under lock and key. In addition, due to the tracking & security of said packages, Post Masters are the ones that are held accountable and answer for any lost Certified Mail under their supervision. That I learned from my mother, who’s a retired US Postal carrier and Post Master after the fact. Hope they locate it.

I called today and spoke to a representative, who was very nice at 0900 EST about a submission of mine that fell off the tracking list, since it’s now 8+ months ago. She explained to me that regular moderns that arrived in April of 2021 are the ones being pressed at this time with CCS. My books arrived on 21 May 2021 to CCS, which she estimated I’ll probably receive them in May 2022.
