  1. There are a lot of cb spine ticks and a blunted corner for a 9.0. you might want to get the back cover cleaned to help. I'm at 8.0.
  2. Are the staples attached? Looks like a 2 on a good day to me as well.
  3. You know what they say, if you haven't solved the CGC case within the first 48 hours the odds of solving it drop dramatically.
  4. With all the spine ticks fc and bc and the top right bc corner I'd go below 7.0.
  5. I think the crease halfway on the right edge, probably from reading, limit the grade. Hard to see the corners but it looks like it could be a generous 8.0. curious what it got. I'd give it 7.5. but CGC usually grades higher than I do. Anyway a press won't fix that edge.
  6. That looks like a long crease going from the bottom edge nearly half way up the cover. 4/4.5
  7. I'm at 5.0 unless that is a tear.
  8. Yeah, I see that at the top staple as well. Hard to judge without a closer view of the spine and those corners.
  9. Wow. I am really under grading my books. That's a 5.5 if I'm selling it raw.
  10. Thanks for the advice. Hopefully this helps show that there is no discoloration and the "soft" edges are just from the slight roll I thought might be helped by a press:
  11. If those aren't tears I hope they haven't been sealed. I'd be at 5.5/6.0 if it wasn't GA, but knowing how CGC often grades books like these it could come back as high as 7.0. These are the hardest to predict. As long as it comes back Blue I'd be happy.
  12. Anyone want to give an opinion? I've been trying to give my input as much as I can. Thanks.
  13. The problem is that due to the shadowing 90% of the fc has significant color fading.
  14. If it's detached at one staple then max grade is 3.5 but until you examine the entire book There is no way to know the lower limit.
  15. Here's an example of the type of bc writing I was asking about:
  16. Wondering if this is worthy of a press and submission?
  17. Issue 2 I think you got lucky. #4 4.5 seems harsh #6 3.5 not sure why. Bc would help and grader notes. Must be something going on with 4 and 6 that isn't apparent from the fc pic.
  18. Big shadow on fc fading a lot of color and foxing bc. 6.0
