    Neither of these have any variants. Detective Comics #658 has a 2nd printing. Detective Comics #660 has 2nd and 3rd printings. A subsequent printing in this era would have a roman numeral of its edition under the price. I.e. "II" for 2nd or "III" for 3rd. These are both first printings.

    I also agree that gender-swapping Captain Marvel would not have improved the movie much - if at all. It was just a boring tale of a MacGuffin byproduct.

    Ant-Man and the Wasp weren't signaled as Nick Fury's Hail Mary after the events of Infinity War. Captain Marvel rode Infinity War's coattails. They're gonna have to produce a better-than-mediocre movie for results next time around.
