  1. Endgame is fantastic, but I'd be surprised if anything beats The Rise of Skywalker. Unless they botch any Force Ghosts (Yoda looked like carp in TLJ).
  2. But seemingly bad ideas in--script don't always play out the same on-screen. The Nano Gauntlet was leaked prior to Endgame. I thought it was really dumb. It happened and I couldn't be happier. Cautious optimism is all I'm asking for. There's no way this can be worse than TLJ. There's no way it can be as good a bookend as Endgame. It could be wildly entertaining, though. It could give us hope that the future of Star Wars isn't bleak.
  3. I must be retarded because I don't remember the MKB (although I do recall it being mentioned before). "Rip off" or homage?
  4. It's gotta make a billion. I thought that the 2nd Star Trek was okay. What was so bad about it? I'm not a Star Trek fan so I have no idea if that opinion is based on prior franchise mythology. I still haven't seen the 3rd one.
  5. I'm honestly surprised that JJ returned with everything RJ did to sabotage this trilogy. $$$$$ talks, though, I guess. I can't blame Abrams for going to the Emperor when he clearly had plans for Snoke. Star Wars has always had a 'man behind the curtain'. I think it goes to 'respecting Star Wars' more than anything else. I'm about as pessimistic as a person can be, but I have optimism (or hope), that this will close out the trilogy/saga on a good note. Otherwise Star Wars, going forward, is dead to me. I have no idea what Palpatine's intentions are. It wouldn't make much logical sense to me if he was trying to take over the galaxy again. Revenge on Skywalker? I have no clue, but I'm hoping it's decent.
  6. What I'm telling you is the truth - regardless of your ability to "accept" it. 1 piece of anecdotal evidence may reinforce your delusion - but everything I've told you is factual. There are no "universal" anythings in subjectivity.
  7. You need more help than we can offer. That much is evident. Guns a blazin'. Spreading misinformation. Taking shots at other people despite being uninformed. Lurking would have done you well.
  8. One 9.8 graded comic ≠ another 9.8 graded comic. You clearly don't understand grading, why CGC exists, and are unwilling to accept what everyone is telling you.
  9. Some people will infer what they want for their confirmation bias. We can't help this person.
  10. Everyone else has told you otherwise - but you persist with this nonsense. There is no "collective" anything. 9.8 is not "mint condition", either. You have no option other than to accept anyone else's opinions. Just because I respect CGC's ability to print their own opinion on their own label doesn't mean anything regarding your last meaningless sentence.
  11. I should clarify that those printing indicators (roman numerals) are specifically for DC Comics of that era. I'm sure that Marvel Comics and other printers use different methods. If you want to know about how many/which variants there are of a comic book, MyComicShop is a good tool. If you type in the issue you're looking for in their search function, they usually list all of the variants - whether or not they're in-stock.
  12. I probably will while trying to watch this on Blu-ray...
  13. I've got a lot of collected edition goals: All Batman Absolute Editions. Crisis on Infinite Earths Box Set. Death of Superman Omnibus. Hellboy Library. PS Artbooks Harvey Horrors. All Pre-Code Classics PCH. Standard Manufacturing M1911. Sig Sauer M17. All 6 Infinity Gauntlet CGC SS. Get my Infinity series all signed.
  14. That's not really an "upgrade" when you didn't have a comic to begin with, but... Upgraded all of my Death of Superman run to SS products signed by the artists.
  15. A couple years ago I played a similar game. Buyer offered $350 on a $700. I countered with $500. He countered with $350.
