  1. Brie Larson's stupidity is a separate issue from the imposter CM movie being mediocre. Captain Marvel threatens nothing. Captain Marvel was boring - not fun. CM (aka BM) didn't "win" 2019. Most delusional statement of 2019? With Endgame and Joker both being released in 2019...
  2. That's entirely dependent on your interest in the book. What condition is it being advertised in? Are you hellbent on buying only to encapsulate? There's nothing wrong with conserved or restored comics. Especially "readers". Potentially replaced staples would be very low on my list of restoration-to-avoid if it's gonna be a bagged-and-boarded comic book.
  3. If they are replaced with non-era staples - yes. If they're replaced by in-era staples - it would receive a Conserved/gray label.
  4. My cats would like to play: Sunny says, "about tree fiddy". Mjölnir says, "$69.69".
  5. I'm pretty sure CGC will correct this at their cost. Call/email them.
  6. That's the conundrum I faced when seeking the Spawn Origins Collection... The "Printing" is located on the copyright page, so... I only bought opened books. I wanted First Printings of all 34 hardcover and paperback books. It's uncommon for printings/edition information to be included on the outside packaging of a book.
  7. @James J Johnson seems to be adept at identifying trimming. I would not touch this above 1.0 pricing.
  8. There aren't that many Moderns worth scouring to slab.
  9. The recipient of my gift should receive it tomorrow, I think. For the Record: I choose the wrong greeting cards intentionally. So, if I'm your gift-giver, and you receive a "Happy Birthday Mom" or "Congrats on Getting Your Driver License!" card... It's on purpose because I find it f^&*ing hilarious. I also try to find gifts of common interest. It gets me into the mindset of, "how happy would I be to receive these gifts?"
  10. I think that it's easier to get kids into single issues. Books (HCs/TPBs) can seem overwhelming. They may not know when to stop. Now, if you knew him and that he couldn't stop, then those books would be a great idea! Not sure if a 9-year old will have any knowledge of bags and boards? I certainly didn't.
  11. That's about as 100% guaranteed as you can get. The Last Jedi is one of the worst things to ever happen to a film franchise. Infinity War is a complete 180. It could be the best comic book movie that will ever be made. Trash in = trash out. Star Wars won't be able to magically fix what RJ ed.
  12. The throne room fight? 100% yes. It would be a slightly better movie. Slightly. The music was off for TLJ, too, though. I never got into any scene. We have about a week until we can judge. Let's try not to trash it until we get the final product. I was unhappy with some Endgame leaks and the movie ended up blowing me away.
