  1. I wish more shops 'specialized' in collected editions. One of the 'LCS's near me is primarily a book store. They pre-order most hardcovers and paperbacks from Marvel/DC, and have a decent area with probably... 50(?) long-boxes in volume of single issues. A couple of racks for new releases. Almost none of the single-issue LCSs near me have more than about 10 books total. If everything works out - congrats! May we all achieve our realistic hopes and dreams in life.
  2. FTR: The 3rd logo sucks because it looks like a Post-It logo...
  3. Cool beans. I'm guessing that, by "shop", you mean a LCS?
  4. If you send it in for a re-holder, and you inform them of the incorrect info on the label, it will be amended. If I understand correctly - they print a new label every time it's re-slabbed - even within the same generation case.
  5. Actually, yeah, I'll be looking specifically for 9.4s. I'd like the entire run to be in the same condition (as I also have OCD)...
  6. I did it when I was 6, I think. Not sure why we had a metal one... I had aluminum hockey sticks back then, though. I'm leaning towards going for completing Iron Man Vol. 1 instead of other SA keys.
  7. Hitting my older brother in the head with a metal baseball bat. Beating up my younger brother for crying to Mom all the time.
  8. I don't want "all" of the SA keys. There are more than a couple I'd like to have, though. I don't "invest" in comics, so that isn't a factor. I'm just looking for some sage advice. Were collectors happier when they got the 10 keys they'd been looking for, or were they happier putting together Captain America #100-200? This is more of a graded quest. The expense of Cap #100 is about the same as Iron Man #2-5 or something like that. Money isn't a hurdle long-term. Just looking to see which direction to head first, in the short-term. Basically trying to prioritize goals.
  9. It only took 8 years. Even then, I wouldn't call Barton "really cool".
  10. I have a lot of collecting goals. I also have a lot of time to complete them. As we all know, though, time is the enemy! Which pays off more to you? Collecting keys of a certain Age, or collecting a run of a certain Age? Debating with myself if I wanna go after more Marvel SA keys, or Iron Man SA run, or start Spawn, etc.
  11. Peter-Tingle = Agreed. The Blip, however, is the return of the snapped characters in 2023. The snap of 2018 is The Decimation.
  12. Which is 100% stupid. Peter Quill basically entirely contains Ego - which is the only way any bomb (built by any character) worked. Which is also stupid. The fact of the matter is there were 0 stakes, and a Genesis Celestial was defeated with so much ease neither Black Widow nor Hawkeye would've been in danger. Yondu didn't even die in battle! He died because of a lack of technology! The movie is trash!

  14. Can't we all just (mostly) get along? Yes, @@therealsilvermane enjoys garbage movies like GotG Vol. 2 and Captain Marvel, but we can still be civil about it! @sagekilz, I don't think he's taking this discussion too seriously. Normally, we just converse for awhile until it breaks down into jokes. You and I both know GotG Vol. 2 and Captain Marvel suck. It's not a big deal!
