  2. 9.9s are overrated. There's 15 of them on the census. I don't collect Wolverine, anyways. Not my jam.
  3. Why should I do all of the research for your own argument..? I've been correct the entire time...
  4. Flagship: "the best or most important thing owned or produced by a particular organization." Superman and Batman are this definition more than any Marvel character. Marvel is not the "flagship of comics".
  5. Detroit won 3 of 6, including back-to-back, in 1997, 1998, and 2002. So, by your metric, Detroit was easily a dynasty.
  6. Most people in the hockey world would disagree. Being the gold standard of a hockey club for 2 decades, while accumulating that amount of success (including Championships) thru 3 eras...
  7. You mean 3 of 6..? This is about comics. Not box office.
  8. 6 Stanley Cup Finals (4 Championships) in 15 years while setting the league-record 62 Wins is not a dynasty..? You've confirmed that you don't know the definition, now.
  9. I don't think you know what this word means. The Montreal Canadiens, Edmonton Oilers, New York Islanders, and Detroit Red Wings had dynasties. Marvel hasn't had any characters with the recognition of Superman and Batman. You could say that Spider-Man and Wolverine are "close". They also don't even have a 700th issue of any title that I can reference off the top of my head.
  10. Put your money where your fingers are! Loser sends $1.00 via PayPal to the winner. Bet on?
  11. FWIW, IMO, current Action/Detective/Superman/Batman are all well-written with good artwork. DC seems to have more than a few titles with that combination of art and storytelling. I'm finding is really difficult to pick up a Marvel title with both attributes (but, as put many times, haven't checked out Immortal Hulk yet).
  12. He also ditched that motivation in the 3rd Act when he vowed to, "reduce the universe to a single atom". What about $1? I'll bet you $1.00 that it gets nominated. Just for s^&*s and giggles?
  13. I agree, because the initial comic product had coupons for a reason (in some cases)... To use... So if one is clipped, and it doesn't affect story, it should have a method of grading that doesn't detract from the missing piece being used as intended. If that makes any sense to anyone else...
  14. Where have you been? I feel like I haven't seen you post in a week? Sick of me? Yeah, all of my friends on Facebook are lighting GOT ablaze right now. They're all pissed, and this after some raising the debate of "Endgame vs GOT S8". 8 seasons of a show is a lot more material than a film trilogy. However, I understand that the first 7(?) seasons were mostly based on the books, is that correct? So they've had 1 season to 'wing it' and are getting yin/yang reactions between episodes? Doesn't seem good.
