    I'm more than happy that Captain Marvel didn't swoop in to save the day. This was a service to the original film Avengers and it was pulled off near-perfectly. On a scale of 1-100, I give Endgame a 98. It did have some of the serious scenes undercut by humor and quips, as some critics warned. I also didn't care for the all-female shot. I don't see the point in segregating characters by gender or race. Doesn't make sense. Detracts, how ever very slightly, from the greatness of the film. The Steve Rogers ending, while perfect for his character, would indicate that there's at least a few branches in time, now.

    I tried to login to discuss Endgame on Friday, and the site said "Banned". But I'm not, now? Not sure if a mistake was made, or there was a glitch. No new removed posts. No new mod notifications or warnings, etc.

    It's the combination of annoying + "trolling". There's people like me, who can be perceived as "annoying", but trying to be a contributing part of this community. Then, there's Swamperston, who's annoying, and also acknowledges 0 advice given and seems entirely disinterested in contributing to any society. "This will show all of you who mocked me for not listening to your collective knowledge and experience", despite being seemingly entirely incorrect, as it were.

But where does that leave those of us who just wanted a good movie?" This is the 22nd film of the franchise. If you're not invested in seeing it because of the preceding films, then what exactly are you doing..? "I might be tempted to describe Infinity War and Endgame as a couple of the worst and ideologically vacuous blockbuster movies ever made - except I'm no longer sure they should even be called movies." What!?

    With the overly-positive critic reviews, which does influence some people's desire to see a movie in-theaters, I think this movie's gonna break-and-make records that won't be touched for awhile.

    Sadly, you're 100% correct. I would not have even touched close to Avengers if I was them. I'm not sure what they were thinking. The public has known about Avengers 4 being "early-May 2019" since 2015. Awful timing by WB.
