  1. I might look like an insufficiently_thoughtful_person on this one but I would say a 2.5 IMO with the staining throughout.
  2. I don't really care about her acting in other movies. In Captain Marvel she was stale. Not horrible or anything, but her "acting" wasn't anything above what I can perform when speaking to a police officer...
  3. IIRC, staple cleaning is conservation and not restoration. It will only retain SS labeling if done by CCS.
  4. I can't say with 100% certainty, but I think this only prevents it from grading above 9.8/NM+.
  5. Yeah, Homecoming was great. Re-watched it this weekend for Phase 3 marathon. That Vulture twist hit me at Mach 1 in theaters. I was caught completely off-guard. Iron Man's cameos were great. "If you're nothing without this suit, than you shouldn't have it." It's in the top half of Phase 3 to me without question.
  6. Captain Marvel is no more "kick butt" than Scarlet Witch. Elizabeth Olsen can actually act, though.
  7. While it's true that Marvel Studios doesn't profit from Spider-Man's solo films - they profit from everything else Spider-Man-relative. So, what you've said makes no difference in the scope of this discussion. Marvel Studios can do pretty much whatever they want with Spider-Man, creatively, and Sony will just say, "okay". It's close to a non-factor.
  8. I know that Hemsworth’s eyebrows being dyed was distracting, and The Destroyer backhanding Thor (and killing him?) was pretty lame, but you didn’t like his 1st movie at all?
  9. You have already made it abundantly clear that you have no idea what you’re talking about. No need to expand on the vapid. Feige and MS wanted Cap to lead the MCU. Look at how that turned out (you must’ve already forgotten this tidbit being mentioned by ME). Captain Marvel will not be the next face of the franchise. An unpopular character with a mediocre movie (in Phase 3, nonetheless) and a divisive actress isn’t going to cut it. They’ll cut their losses on the idea and do what’s right for both the MCU and it’s fans. And that will be putting Spider-Man front and center. A great character with a plethora of good stories to draw from (unlike Carol Danvers).
  10. Homecoming wasn’t billed as a “must-see” prior to the next Avengers movie. How quickly some forget. Let’s not confuse box office numbers for character popularity - because it’s a severely flawed metric. In no way, shape, or form is Captain Marvel more popular than Spider-Man.
