I've got like 20 warning points right now that expire in like 5 years. It's like the CGC mod is Hawkeye and I have a Loki decal on my back. You could report this post and they'll ban me on principal alone. Plz don't.

Makes sense. Everybody has to start somewhere, though. I have specific collecting habits. New Mutants isn't on my list. Blue Label products aren't typically on my list. I'm pretty much dead-set on Signature Series and trade paperbacks only right now. Personally, refunds aren't a concern for me. Having money 'tied up' sucks, if you need to go through a return, but it doesn't prevent me from buying a collectible that looks like a good deal (that I want particularly for my collection).

Is there a red flag regarding the pictured product? Or are you just expecting to receive an item that is not pictured? If you don't receive the pictured item, or it's been tampered with, I see no reason why eBay would not support a return.

You can tell the spine is destroyed, and why the grade was given, but it's a looker for sure. That could possibly be the best-looking book in that issue + grade.

Is this a rhetorical question? "Invest" in modern comic books..? Did you not read Gabe's journals? Do you really think dealers are going to cue you in on what comics to load up on to load off in the future? Not a single savvy "investor" will tell you. Collect what you want to read/keep, and invest in a 401k instead.

I would definitely say that the front cover on this one makes it look better than a 1.8. Very nice.

You're not wrong. There's a certain body language for guilt. The "head on a swivel" body psychology is a thief's telltale of 'protecting' themselves from getting caught or being confronted.

IMO it depends on whether or not you can afford to take the risk. I'm not a seller of comics, by any means, but I have facilitated a lot of collectible sales/trades over the years. Sometimes I have to take a "pass" at a good listing if my budget is tight. Keeping in mind if I can afford to keep it in my collection or sell at no financial appreciation. Comics are much different than sealed decks of playing cards - certainly - but I think the same logic applies. I've always stuck to the "better safe than sorry" motto. I wouldn't dwell on this one. If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry Chris-mas.
