For slow modern track pressing, I wonder if the current 197 day TAT makes sense. My 4/11 received books (delivered on 3/23) are sitting at 192 days now, but still haven't been charged. Just wondering if anyone has seen their books delivered in late February or early March move to grading yet.

This pressing order delivered the same week as your's on 4/15 went to GEI on 12/22.  I do not remember the delivery date.  Invoiced on 12/3.

Also...I was charged the new pricing for this press even though it was subbed before the July price increase, something to watch out for.

I think everyone should start posting the submission numbers when there is a change in status along with tier (modern, express, economy, fast track).

The submission numbers seem sequential and some of us might be able to use it to see how many submissions are before ours.  Kinda like taking a number at the DMV.

(Although it seems there are people who are "cutting" in front of the line)

My submission number is #3916975 Received 8/29/21 currently at SFG.

I think I saw that submission #38XXXXX are being shipped now.

In my experience, this doesn't work...they haven't spent a month working on 802.  Not to mention they did 803 BEOFRE 801 here.

If there is one thing you can get from reading the post is this forum...they don't do submissions in any kind of order.  These two subs were delivered in the same box...and there is over a month and counting between gradings.

  3. Now going on 3 plus weeks difference with my two orders delivered the same day, in the same box on 6/2.  Again, donno why...just questions with no answers, but this second order is at 136 business days.  My main check in for today is the happy note that my books from Thought Bubble are finally getting checked in...well, one of three orders any who.  I'm guessing they moved Steve outta grading and into opening boxes.  I hope Steven enjoys the new gig as my hate for Steve has slightly...stayed the absolute same.  As always, I'm happy to provide content for this company that has, so far, successful stored my books for such an extended period of time.  Glad to share my "influencer" powers for such and such...arg, Steve get me my books back!

These were both delivered 5/27... why can't they be graded within the same week...after 6 months?   Did you guys give one order to Steve?  Is Steve really that slow?  I hate Steve.

And on Monday I'll be past the posted 129 working days...but even though they post it...CGC makes no effort to enforce it on their employees to get your books out before that time...but expect you to wait past that time...though they post times...that they say they can get your books out by...but don't bother...cuz they don't enforce it onto their employees...cuz it's your job to wait.  I still hate Steve...whomever you are.

And just as my books go over the 129 working day mark...CGC up's the posted "turn around times" on the site to 132 working days today.  This is why you never get the carrot off the stick, you just end up chasing it until the guy holding the stick falls asleep.  WAKE UP STEVE AND GRADE MY BOOKS ALREADY!    i hate Steve.

I think part of the reason for the slowdown is all these celebrity signings. I was curious why on earth Ann Hathaway, but I see she played something somewhere.

there’s a link to Ann’s “submission details”, but it yielded no interesting info

Most of these are not in-house CGC signings, but done corp partner facilitators...so they dont get the same turn around times as in-house.  Would be considered a convention submission.  Info should link to the facilitator web site for more info.

    2x25 modern slow boat subs

    delivered: 5/27

marked as received/scheduled for grading: 7/29

1 order GEI then quality control: 11/19

    marked shipped: 11/20

The other order still scheduled for grading...only difference in the orders are the one that's stuck has '90s books.  What a long wait.

Still have 2x25 modern slow delivered 6/7 stuck at SFG.

    Just Weird,

my 2 orders delivered 5/27...one order done and shipped on the 20th, the other still stuck at CGC (127 working days...right on the heals of the not to be believed 129 posted)

My 2 orders delivered 6/7...one order shipped 11/29, the other still stuck at cgc.

Why are orders in the same box separated by weeks?

Just more proof nothing is graded in order of arrival.

Anyone had their modern slow track submissions clear the CCS process recently? My main concern is that the problems we're currently seeing with submissions received back in late April / early May for just CGC grading will be even the worse with CCS. They probably haven't even gotten to the hoards of submissions they received after the price change. I could easily see the 196 TAT go up to 250 or more once they start going through the thousands of submissions received during that time. Heck, my 4/11 received submissions (prior to the price change) are still likely a couple of months away from being pressed. I have absolutely zero hope that my 6/23 submissions will see the light of day next spring or even summer.

I have an order been in "Received at CCS" since 4/15.  Thats my update...for the past 7 months.

When was you 6/7 marked as received in the system. Still waiting for them to locate my MFT delivered April, received 6/22 and has sat as SFG since. Started raising concerns in August and still not located. Last correspondence with the CGC rep working it was 11/9 they escalated to Operations Manager and our Customer Service Director and would let me know. Still waiting on a response. So they have had my books since April, have been actively searching for them since August, and can't reply in November. That is not a sign of a caring company. I have really been disappointed with CGC and their handling of this situation. Things happen I understand but there is no excuse to not discuss with the customer and come to a resolution.

I only ever noticed it go to sfg 8/6.

  11. I...was not able to attend, but I was able to reach out to a number to facilitators attending to secure commission spots.  Like mentioned above, this show had a good number of great art reps like Cadence, Kirby and Scott's to help secure signatures, sketches and do all my CGC submissions.  And, as mentioned above...these reps do an amazing job of posting original art online, so attending specifically for that could be done at home.  So, I took advantage of chasing rare chances at commissions which could all be done through these art reps...the 3 I'm excited to get back are,

Alvaro Martines Bueno who is doing "Nice House on the Lake"

Michael Dialynas who is doing "Wynd"

John J. Pearson who is taking over the next few issues of "Department of Truth"

my Last Ronin's arrive home tomorrow :wishluck:

About time!  I noticed 2 different types of inner wells used for these books...form fit and extra large w side guards.

My tip for all you guys and gals...look at all your books right away!  You only have 14 days once you receive your books to have something done about it...per the CGC agreement.
