Since no one I know is a a serious or even casual collector this resource in essential! An example is I figured out how important the centering of a book is to people in this hobby. "Eye appeal" can mean more than one thing but I think that term refers to centering for the most part. I discovered that you must look for areas of yellowing on white back covers through scans on high grade books from an eagle eyed poster. Another thing is how people view signature books...the placement of the sig, who signed it & when, in what grades people prefer their SS books, the clarity of the sig etc etc. Learned of ideas on how to get rid of Newton rings. I wouldn't know about GPA if not for these boards. So yeah these boards are vital to anyone interested in a serious collection. I have the boards to thank for the IH180 I bought almost 2 years ago. It would have cost a good deal more on Ebay!
All this is important information if anyone ever wants to put something on the market!
