  1. Unfortunately no....other than the likelyhood Kang will be deeply involved. Unless he was in the 2015 which I have no idea about?
  2. None. Apparantly something involving Kang and Loki. I suppose not terrible but wonder why they would call that secret wars?
  3. Good bet this "secret wars" will have very little connection to the 1984. It'll just be another Avengers movie.... so unless they involve Doom somehow....yawn 😴
  4. Bryan Cranston would be way better fit for Prof X.
  5. Not sure that correlating macro econ or COVID related trends to collectibles ever really works? I mean you had the latter part of the 90's where almost all comics were on a steady downtrend and macro econ was quite good (relatively speaking). You had 2020 where everything cratered and we know what the collectibles market did! 2021 had COVID madness and collectibles didn't bat an eye. Yes the 90s were pre cert but I'm not sure cgc would have made a dramatic difference in 1990 - something, pre x-men, MCU and 2002 spider-man. I might say MCU has a lot more correlation with what comics do than anything else by a long shot. If you want to ascribe the current downtrend to something, I'd probably look at a natural pullback from insanity and lackluster MCU. As far as putting a conceivable timetable on some inflection point without MCU being involved?....maybe when interest rates stop going up or possibly come down would be a guess. That would be way sooner than 2 or 3 years. Or maybe crypto makes a comeback? I just wish all these people packing the malls and spending up a storm all this time see their way to a few comic cons!
  6. Yeah it's not too bad....the movie was cursed by the timing Gods and by Sony being Sony. Imagine a standalone Mysterio or Ock movie? Not even the crickets would bother.
  7. Agree with this as was initially inclined. Fair to say a legit private sale wouldn't necessarily be *as* indicative of true market value compared to a public auction. In this case I'd believe the 5.3 mill wouldn't be wildly off the mark in light of that recent FF 9.2 auction. It would have been very interesting to see what that Sup1 would of fetched on the block! I believe it was sold as an 8.0 then bumped to 8.5 after the resub as discussed in the thread linked above. It should be noted, the dealers could of had another offer or offers in the neighborhood of 5.3 but we'll never know
  8. That may not be a bad idea. I mean if you can get a fraction of the people that have been splurging on everything and anything with a "for sale" sign the past year, might be worth it. Like maybe if one person can forgo that 4th or 5th 100 inch plasma LED 4k TV and/or whatever else they didn't need for something worthwhile. Could be worth it for the seller👍
  9. I'd be inclined to agree with this but if there were real questions to the legitimacy would it have been widely reported? CGC ran an article on the front page of the website. The brokers of the sale were established dealers.
  10. Morbius is not a poor choice. It's a compelling character. You can only expect so much from a Sony standalone without spider-man. The same thing would likely happen with Kraven. Chalk it up to Sony living up to its limitations.

  12. Okay yeah I totally missed that. My vision can fall off a cliff sometimes. I have seen books with one staple in front the other in back. I'd imagine those caused similar creases along the spine from some aggressive page flattening. Just thinking that would be like literally beating down a book 😂
  13. Do you mean the top staple being in front but the bottom staple around back like that seems to be? I guess that would cause the pages to be a bit slanted near the spine when you turn them over?
  14. Wow it is so damn tough to let this go! Snatch this up before too late! The slab is clear and clean with no Newtown rings or scratches. https://www.myslabs.com/slab/view/754461/ https://www.ebay.com/itm/275354494559?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=J4dc-ZPjSb2&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=J4dc-ZPjSb2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  15. Alright so I finally got to upgrading this guy. I also updated my favorite trilogy with this and upgraded the 47 awhile back from the other 9.2 yellow label.
