ASM 148 was the first Marvel comic I ever purchased off the rack. I always look for high grade copies of this issue at comic shows and can attest that they're hard to come by. Very tough book.

I recently sold a CGC 9.6 on eBay. I had it listed for a month or so & had a post up on the eBay dealer forum here on this site

If any one issue defined my childhood comic collecting, it would be ASM 148.  It had it all.   Beautiful cover, great villians, Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane, cliff hanger ending.  Best 25 cents a boy ever spent.

To my knowledge It was the first cover appearance of Gwen's clone other than 144 where it's just a boot.

Yes jackal rips off his mask in the end revealing himself as Prof. Warren. I think Warren kills Serba in this issue or was it the next? Anyways, I love Jerry Conway's idea of resurrecting Gwen in the form of a clone to torment Peter! Brilliant! I thought there was too much confusion over the true identity of Peter's clone with later revelations in spectacular spiderman. Just got a bit convoluted.

I had a chance at this issue with a nice Conway sig in 9.6 but I just didn't like the wrapping on it. Besides, the price was way high. Glad you like it

I'm going to be ticked off if it is select user's lol

At least I'm not alone. I tried it on ebay.com on my phone, and it does the same thing. I'll give it this though it does appear to work constantly on the APP (shrug)

Yes it works fine on the app. I can see all the ended listings as usual

Yeah, Cosmic Spidey was the last time I really liked it. Larsen's art got progressively worse as he tried to develop is own style and the stories were unremarkable (unless your remarks were "blah"). I kept buying intermittently up to 400 or so, but there was definitely a drop from the 330's on.

I've been referring to it just as "the 'Bay" to avoid the link but I think I like f-bay better :golfclap:

have always loved 332 and 333, and perhaps those books turn into a poor mans 315 and 316 Not TM, but good art, somewhat hard to find in 9.8 for a decent price now.

ASM 316 - first Venom cover (where it isn't Peter Parker in the suit)

    @PeterPark

I was the 20th bid here. Was willing to go high but damn... Seriously!? :whatthe:... https://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-MARVEL-THE-AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN-332-VENOM-APP-JAY-LENO-CAMEO-CGC-9-8-WHITE-/173329596854

Fresh from the Phoenix Con. Finally got William Shatner to sign my favorite Captain Kirk poster. Shatner seems to be a great guy and he sure knows how to entertain huge crowds. Add in some Adam Strange Mystery in Space and some high grade Gold Key and this was a great day. By the way, I know that you younger guys may not appreciate the Jesse Marsh artwork on John Carter but that would just be another example of youth being wasted on the young. Just sayin'.....

Sweet looking Shatner piece! I love him as an actor. He was on Mannix, played a "country boy" in Hawaii five-o, mission impossible, etc...

Edit: I forgot my favorite one, a TV detective on Columbo!

    How much to re- holder

In all it was around 46 since I requested them to ship it back to me usps registered mail. It's much less if you choose a non registered return shipping method.

The only way they fully insure the package however is with registered so I had to choose it. The other shipping carriers CGC uses for return shipping only insure the package for 100 dollars.
