The splash page looks surprisingly clean from what they showed of it. The back cover however resembles a sheet of soiled toilet paper. It's not even worth the 12 cent cover price

How often can you bump your eBay listing thread & how many total thread bumps are allowed on this forum? Do I have to wait until it falls off the front page before bumping or do I have to wait a certain amount of time?

I like the edited version a lot better. The red alone makes a huge difference for me anyways.
I don't know but it looks like they cut & pasted hulks head from the IH 182 cover on to 181 original they showed. It just looks weird.
Edit: the second one looks a bit better but still sucks compared to the one they went with. Plus hulk's head looks too small for his body in both versions

Anyone see this before?

Are there deadlines for when the seller has to ship the book out?
The reason I ask is that once you get the acceptance email it says you have 72 hours to make payment.
So just curious if there is a policy set on the seller as well.
First off, congrats on actually getting a response at all in Heritage make an offer! You're truly blessed. Most people get nothing when making an offer there.
For an example comiclink says they require books to be delivered in 5 business days from the time the seller accepts an offer. These large auction houses take a very long time to process a given invoice since they're so busy all the time. I make offers all the time on Clink & Cconnect. It usually takes a bit over a month for these "best offer" books to get to me.

I find it very difficult to properly express my thoughts on this without hurling expletives and getting political
!
All I'll say is signing that petition is a waste of time

Agreed with the OP. There may be similar questions about the venom movie. It'll combine lethal protector & planet of the symbiotes. It should just be based on one of them imo.
I just hope they'll do a direct adaptation of the 1st secret wars but unfortunately that's a pipe dream. It's very frustrating!

Did you get Jim Shooter to sign his full first name on the SW 8 or did you just get the J?

I'm planning on sending in a book (marvel tales #44 Aug '73) for grading. It has 16 pages which is obviously 32 front/back. I'm pretty sure 32 pages is standard but since I never read this particular book I can't be sure. Can anyone confirm. I'd want to make sure before sending it out.
Thanks in advance for any responses

Especially on the next 7.0 bin, when people save money it seems they don't have the patience for auctions. It is no longer what if it goes for cheaper, it's what if it goes for more and they hit that BIN! We need auctions from time to time to gauge stability in prices, bit I too feel bad for the 7.0 seller. Not to mention it hurts GPA...
Yeah but I don't know how much of a gauge an auction can be if it's only a week long auction. I've seen very short eBay auctions. They have to be longer for a true measure. Don't think it'll hurt GPA for 7s since the census is so high. I don't know but by next month there could be a number of 7.0 sales that would nullify this?
Anyways I don't want a price stabilizer. I want this thing to get on loads of jet fuel & never stop!!!! Especially since I'll be completing my trilogy soon! And they're all white pagers!!! Keep on movin up baby!

Not surprised in the least that marvel studios nailed this! They're the best at what they do! Its looking like a banner year for them. At some point when x-men & FF rights are hashed out a movie based on the original secret wars series should be made. First because it wouldn't be far removed from this Avengers movie. Secondly it could help clarify confusion about Spider-man's black costume.
Everybody I know that's not into comics thinks Spider-man wearing the black costume is either Venom or spidey's evil alter ego

is it just me or has IH 181 sold listings gone on whacky tobbaky? how does a 5.5 sell for close to a 7.0? and a 5.0 ss by stan lee go for $2000 in an auction? now I don't feel too bad about having a 2.5 signed by Stan.....cause a blue label 2.5 went for $950 in auction...
The 5.5 & 7.0 sold on the same day. I have to imagine the seller of the 7.0 would be kicking himself if he knows about the 5.5 sale! Can't imagine the next sale of a 7.0 would be anywhere near that last one!

What was this like a drive by coupon?! It ended at 4pm eastern time when most people are still at work. What the hell was the point? Maybe next time they'll actually give their costumers a chance to use it

Where did you hear they won't show the full venom until the last 20 minutes of the movie? If that happens people will rightfully have a major cow over it!

I'll tell you one thing the newest slabs are much clearer & present better! No doubt about it. I had a couple of reholders done & the books look so much better in the new slab. The negative is that they're thicker, weigh just a bit more & take up a little more space. The presentation improvement is worth it in my view

What's up with the way they drew Robin back in the day? They made him look like Rosie O'Donnell. This particular example isn't nearly as egregious as others but still
