  1. You cant expect CGC to accurately grade your book with all the voodoo drums beating incessantly. 1.5 would have been nice but still a cool book
  2. Looks to be in amazing condition and the box must be ultra rare in any condition.
  3. Indeed, The Bittersweet Trail - the story of two type 2 diabetics in love
  4. @ChadH you're a liar. Here's your post from Feb 29 in this thread. "BOOK HAS BEEN SOLD SOLD SOLD!!" You couldn't be more clear or more emphatic. You sold it here, ghosted the buyer, and sold it a second time on ebay. For what, an extra $50?
  5. These posters were reprinted in 2021. They come 12 to a box and are the same size and quality as the originals. They are beautiful. You can find them on ebay, adding Abrams to the search will help find the reprinted versions. This is about as cheap as you'll likely find the medusa https://www.ebay.com/itm/155139998399?itmmeta=01HRQA9FWQVVXG0CZV6SXSE0D3&hash=item241f1082bf:g:Um0AAOSwZmNj3hFc&itmprp=enc%3AAQAIAAAA0CTEdlo2J5tk4jedrorZarrHo8biCPa%2FEB7E70AH6or2uQBDzXBl30BYDsgHlxMLT7lAxf8gDHYVgbiUgyD0R%2BW9%2B9hn9%2Ffs80heFSUlL5Y%2Bzh6T%2BAExQZB1ciEScNumBzkJuVi10P7QeZ9BmftLcj07KQfEnx5crMTr3Xtjk3eCMfmkPqWyUUyqajkXK80Xq1Lt368%2Fkf8beEdltEIAVJjwUlGVOdPTZeHRZTTFu4x4DWMT05kjEvuxSBqWc6n48aW0EepZbJQ4LUIT0oe2%2BIA%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR7b-perFYw
  6. And I want to point out that when this first came out Mike was posting in this thread about how this was making it difficult for him to take on new work and make money. He always put himself and his business first.
  7. Sometimes you just don't know what's going on behind the scenes until it's too late. It's safe to say people were having problems with Mike well before this all blew up but didn't say anything because nobody else had complained. Once someone started publicly asking questions everyone realized they weren't the only ones having problems.
  8. And that's the sad part about all this Gary. Heroes was considered to be a skilled and trusted restoration expert and now we're learning that while he may be skilled he can't be trusted and isn't good at running a business. And sadly, in this hobby there are very few people doing this work. Other than Kenny are there any relatively young comic restoration experts out there?
  9. Interesting how many women read fantasy in comparison to men
  10. Whoa whoa whoa 1. thehumantorch 2 WolverineX 3. Wipple 4. thehumantorc 5. frozentundraguy At least I can be at the front before the contest starts...
  11. The driver should be fired for this . Too lazy to even bring them up to your porch.
  12. Unfortunately the people out books and money don't know what course of action is most likely to get results. There's just no easy answer to this mess.
  13. Posted these in another thread but decided to cross post here because it belongs here and wanted to bump this thread. 1972 NYC Comic Art Convention. Signed by: Neal Adams, Gray Morrow, Murphy Anderson, Mike Royer on the first page. Larry Ivie, Jack Kirby, Steranko on the second.
  14. Beautiful piece of history. I have its close relative. Years ago we bought a collection that included multiple copies of this book and other years of this convention. One of the 1972 copies had a sticker indicating it was signed. Neal Adam’s, Gray Morrow, Murphy Anderson, Mike Royer on the first page. Larry Ivie, Jack Kirby, Steranko on the second. I imagine a young fan going around the show getting autographs from his heroes. Meeting and talking to them and not lining up for the opportunity to pay for signatures. And I wonder if my copy and FoomMember’s copy were owned by the same person, back in the day. Can’t be many of these out there.
