about 16 years ago, I gave up on one of their competitors. Two midgrade amazing Spider-Man books, after removing them from the slabs, were missing wraps. I also made the mistake of purchasing an incredible Hulk 181, from comic link, in one of their slabs. I resubmitted it to CGC, and it did not come back in a blue label. I never bought one of their slabs again.

Once again. Not on the list. Clearly a Zanello submission. List books are in the same submission, from last year. Scan of book clearly not a 9.8 still there GRADE IS GONE from notes, and grade date changed to January 23, 2024. Clearly then not a reholder, right? https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/4329914003/ Buyers beware.

I think that there had to be some impetus for them deciding last year to start putting scans in the grader's notes. Anyone that is buying comics that is not searching GPA for transaction history, and reviewing the other books in the submission that includes a certification number they have interest in, is out of their minds. Of course, how much does even that help, when a submission from 2019, with a FF #2 on the list, has been confirmed by CGC to have been screwed with? Here is another book from that submission https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/1393412001/ Why would I possibly consider buying that comic, when 2 of the books in that submission were put on the list?

i've just seen an indication, that if CGC finds that a book has been tampered with, that is not currently on the list, and even though there are other books on that submission, that are on the list, CGC will be expecting you to pay for having that book regraded. @CGC Mike Could you confirm this, Mike? at what point is CGC going to explain, why exactly it is only books that were reholdered, that CGC feels that it is responsible for? is this being placed squarely on former employees of the company? it's been documented, that books have been switched into slabs that have certification numbers that are not on the list. What exactly is the distinction, between those swaps, and the swaps that are on the list? This sounds pretty insane to me.

If you scroll in on the 8.5 and 9.0 the top that looks like additional cover is actually a shadow - I do not think they have been trimmed (but who knows??) I looked at all 3 scans on heritage, specifically at the top of the letter "A" (the yellow part of it) in Marvel (due to it's proximity to the top). All 3 of the books are identical. There is about 1/16th to a 32nd of an inch, between the top of the A, and the top of the cover.
