  1. @Tedsaid we discussed how you're on these boards and we should come over here and all hang out sometime :). I'm planning on holding onto my SIKTC copies and also the 10 copies of We Live #1 I purchased based on your recommendation. There was also some confusion as to if you were still alive, since ebaymafia commented how he missed you with a "RIP @tedsaid", so it's good that you're still with us.
  2. I have a 9.4 I have listed for $1250, which is high, but with best offer enabled, since I don't know when the Netflix series will be released and how the market will respond. I wouldn't list the 9.8 for less than $3000 obo and I would wait until the series is released to do so. There are other 9.8s listed for far less than that so if you're looking to sell quickly it's probably best to be competitive with the current market and list for around $2200.
  3. Seriously! I've done business with MCS for years, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt over some random yahoo on a forum.
  4. First time I've heard of someone being banned by them. I've asked to return a few comics from them that had spine ticks, but they have always been comics less than $5 and they either sent me a replacement or a refund and I got to keep the other comics. I've never returned a comic that was consigned through them. They usually undergrade their consigned raw books so they don't have to deal with returns after they've already issued payment. Without more information I'm assuming that you're the problem, not MCS.
  5. This is my first submission with CGC and it's for a Mechanical Error/Reholder for an incorrect label on a comic I recently purchased. It's been a very smooth process so far and I was expecting a different response since I'm not the original owner and mentioned this when I first emailed customer service: Shipped 12/29 Shipment Received 12/30 Listed as Received by CGC and confirmation email on 1/4 Grading Quality Control 1/12 Shipping notification from CGC 1/13 Expected Delivery Date 1/14 Next day air paid by CGC both ways to correct the error although I wouldn't have cared if they shipped priority mail instead. Only effort by me was a small amount of time. I'm happy with the service so far, hopefully the comic looks the same in the new case and has the correct label info. I'll update this once received.
  6. What a strange guy. One second he's apologizing for his mistake and another he's legitimizing his crookery by stating that everyone is as big of a piece of trash as he is.
  7. Either that or he is printing his own CBCS labels. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to do.
  8. The seller is listing a lower graded copy as a CBCS 9.4 by fraudulently stating it's the same booked that was cracked. I found a past sale with photos of the actual 9.4 that matches the label and grader's notes, including the date stamp on the logo that isn't there on the copy currently being sold. Does anyone know anything about this seller on ebay?: buying_everything https://www.ebay.com/itm/Incredible-Hulk-180-CBCS-CGC-9-4-Unrestored-1st-App-of-Wolverine-in-Cameo/224304721050?hash=item34399a6c9a:g:vFUAAOSwtmhf82Ie Here are the pictures of the actual book that was originally in the 9.4 CBCS slab.
  9. I'm assuming these have been sold but if not I'd be interested. Thanks.
  10. Haha, one of them is Amazing Spiderman 361 in 9.6/9.8 condition which could be worth over $250 based on what it's selling for on ebay CGC certified. Thanks for all the advice, the signatures look legitimate, I only questioned it b/c when I was stupid kid 23 years ago i used to forge signatures on a few of my worthless comic books.
  11. I'm trying to sell several Amazing Spider-Man comics that I purchased over 10 years ago and I noticed there are signatures on a few of them. I've seen other uncertified signatures by Mark Bagley being sold on Ebay that match mine but they look forged since they don't match his signature or any other individual's signature on any CGC Certified copies of Amazing Spider-Man. I've attached a photo, any idea if this is real or fake? If they are fake does that make the comic worthless or just reduce condition greatly. What would a 9.8 grade be downgraded to due to a forged signature and are there any services that could clean the signature ink off without damaging the cover?
