Is that top staple popped?
Im paranoid with this book since my otherwise 9.8 came back with a popped staple GREEN label. May have happened at CCS?

.The crazy part now is that they are even slowing down their Walkthrough and Express submissions which people are paying a huge premium to use those.
If they are doing so to take care of the unreasonably old submissions, then this is a smart move.
It's losing a battle to win the war.
Losing a battle: (a few bucks of short term $ loss on increased FT submissions)
Win the war (making customers happy again, stopping the barrage of internet-wide bad mouthing, non stop customer service calls, etc.) and remaining the industry leader.

No Movement on my Economy Tier, submitted on 8/12/21
Man I truly feel bad for the reps at this point.
CGC/ CCS please focus on the older books, economy, value, whatever. Get the books that have been there for an unreasonable amount of time out first. Please.

.....then on the flip side, you have people with books that have been sitting there since 2020/2021.
2021, yes. I have quite a few from 2021 especially post price change announcement and pre actual price change.
BUT 2020???? That would absolutely ludicrous. Can anyone confirm this?

I don’t think I will ever use “scantily clad women” again. From now on they are just “scantily women”. Sounds so weird. Just brilliant.

That would have been fun for the actors.
DCU should give Gunn a shot at Superman next. They need to revive that franchise, and he may be the one to pull it off.
Ha! Oh man. That would cause an actual civil war among the DC fandom.

Let's be honest with ourselves. No way most of these books would escape someone doing an actual QC check.
I think its safe to assume that there is NO quality-control going on at all with the current backlog. There is just no time for it. Probably more cost effective to have a small percentage of books sent back for reholdering.

Holy #$*!. Went from a promising score of "4" the first round to the depths of grading hell the second round. How on earth did i give the Submariner a 9.4?

Modern, Slow Track, CCS and CGC: Shipped end of May 2021, received at CGC in June 2021, received at CCS in July 2021, changed to CCS in process and credit card charged in March 2022, then it fell off the submissions page but is in Received status at CGC. One more month and my books have been gone for a entire year.
Is it showing up in tracking now? Also did CGC charge you yet?

My M/FT had been sitting at G/E/I for about 4-5 days, which it moved from QC/F to Shipped this morning. My grades overall were pretty good this time. I had 2 books this time that had some really suspect grades on the low end and 2 other books scored way much higher than I though. I do hope that my walkthrough is finalized today, damn eager to see the grade on this one.
I will say they are moving so much quicker with newer submissions. I do feel bad for you guys that have had books sitting over there for over a year. My brother called their support yesterday after his books have been sitting at CCS for a year and demanded that they send his books back to him. Moving forward, I think people need to find a local presser or start to learn how to press books themselves. I think that the pressing at CCS is whats causing many of the big delays.
Did he get his books back? I would be more than happy to get my books back unpressed and ungraded at this point.

Oh good lord that's bad. I can clear the backlog with one command "DROP TABLE submissions" . Good way to get yourself hacked
So much wrong here. Using SELECT * is such a bad practice. This is also the line of code that limits submissions to only showing up for 8 months before they drop off.
is it really as simple as changing the “-8” to a higher value?

This worries me. I have a modern from 1977 being graded now. If they are going by truly modern book standards I am screwed.
