    Well, what a ride!

4/17/21 Value press and grade shipped today.

11 days short of a year since it was opened at CGC. :yeehaw:

Good luck to those still in limbo...

Congrats. Received at CCS on 4/17?   Or package delivered 4/17?

I see that CCS TAT's have gone down from 281 business days to 247. On of my 4/11 received submissions is currently sitting at 255 business days from day delivered. Just wondering if anyone else is still in the same boat.

Spoke to a rep who told me VALUE books received at CCS on 6/21/21 moved into CCS In Process yesterday.  Who knows at this point.

But, what if it was a "tuning peg" from an original strad, or an "identifiable scrap" like an "eye" from one of the women in Picasso's "Demoiselles De Avignon"?

Part of what makes the "1" viable is that it is identifiable. A chip of paint or chip of wood might be able to be authenticated but they wouldn't be identifiable.

    True.

I am trying to put this into perspective. I just can't wrap my head around this. Not sure why it is bothering me as much as it does.

Does a chip of paint from a Picasso or a chip of wood from a Stradivarius have any value?  My answer is a clear NO.   Its just a chip of paint or wood.

Once "value" is assigned to the scraps, its as if the original collectible is divine or has magical powers.

    Am I overthinking this?

I keep coming back to this thread hoping for a miracle.  My books at CCS (including VALUE tier books) have passed the 8 month mark so I wait in limbo. I can't even track them.  Thats just too much.

Doesn't seem like CGC will priotize the oldest submissions any time soon let alone VALUE submissions.

Honestly, I would rather just have my books back at this point.

No idea about the in-story justification or whether or not Disney mandated it but it absolutely makes sense if you're wanting to distance yourself from the people/groups that appropriated the logo.

But I gotta say - I hate it.  I don't know if it's because I'm so used to the original logo or what, but man...it looks like a bad Magic the Gathering expansion symbol.

What kills me is that for years I thought there was HUGE amount of Punisher fans.  Man i feel dumb.

It will be fine. If anything they realized if they had more time the CGI could be so much better and finally just looked at each other and said, "Then why don't we flip the dates??!!"

He clearly wants this to blow people away. Let's give them the time to do this for us.

They moved up Shazam 2 to December, 2022. Hmmmmmm maybe there will be a connection and or cameo.  Now I’m getting excited.
