I’m after information on this Namor in colour . I’ll soon have the pre lim art for it in hand but I’ve been searching for the colour version for some time. Can anyone shed any light on it? When it was done Aprox or who may own it ?

Actually made 85K on my Spiderman books then made another 200K on my Condo purchase . Thanks for filing him in... I’d take any low grade first print my friend and be merry about it . I sold mine two years ago 9.0 and regret it because I’d lived the turtles growing up . One of my top ten comics I’m trying to reacquire . Ironically 5 of my 10 picks I use to own and now am chasing and losing fast in the race . Oh the life of a collector ...... sigh

A question for the more knowledge savey Cap America collectors ( timely ) . Which are the hardest numbers generally to find ? What are the rarest ? I never see many low numbers come up and most any issue costs quite a bit . Hats off to any of you that are gathering a run together . I can’t imagine the effort and money needed for that masterpiece.

That’s what crazy bidding does . Nobody can keep track of actual value especially in last few months it’s gone crazy. Third prints are selling minimum over 1K that’s nuts to me . First printing is going to cost no doubt and is undisputed book here but even there it’s tough to see what normal is and what will be next year ? It seems like all printings just exploded . It’s hot property

I could care less sold these in last few years : albedo 2 cgc 9.6 tmnt 1 first print cgc 9.0 ASM 1 cgc 4.5 AF15 cgc 2.0 ASM run 2-800 complete run many others I cashed out and I’m happy I did . Every single one of these books is available to buy at any time . They are only paper I put money to great use buying my home . That’s smart business !

I don’t have it anymore I’m not angry these prices are made up . FOMO is pure make believe but I can see how people get drawn into thinking books are impossible to find and too rare etc etc. over the years I’ve learned any book aside from some htf golden age books can be had if you pay . Driving up prices can only be done by fat wallets . Poor collectors like myself wouldn’t do that . Why would we do that ? Who the hell is paying 12-20K during COVID for a comic . Not blue collar!

I bought my cgc 9.0 first print for 5 K two years ago so there has been considerable price hike . Like insane price hike The other thing I want to add , this whole FOMO garbage as collectors scramble to drive up prices on everything it seems foolishly who invented that term? and when has this been an acceptable part of this hobby? Price increase blame it on FOMO , fake prices must be FOMO. It’s messed up .

We are not talking hundreds of dollars anymore but thousands . I highly doubt this appetite can continue in healthy way . There are wealthy people no doubt are they buying these all up ? print run 1st 3000 second run 6000 third run 30000 even at the two first printings there are 9000 copies out there . Where are they ? There are rarer variants today with print runs under 500 that don’t see these ludicrous climbs. The fact it’s a key plays into price hikes wether justified or not . Two years ago TMNT 1 and Albedo 2 were attainable comics ? Then what happened ? Don’t say it was a new movie or cartoon that’s garbage . Nobody cares about turtles today or the samurai rabbit . It’s fact . Comics for both barley sell I grew up in height of turtle mania . It was special and it’s shelf life is gone ! Im sure prices won’t come down you know why? The fat wallets that are buying these up for the next flip will dictate price again ! And again ! And again !

No I don’t . To show who? The people defending this garbage or the dealers squeezing the life out this hobby . There will be no new money coming in years to come from young collectors . This has gotten so out of hand and it’s been pyramid scheme since it’s inception. The same dealers selling in early days have been same dealers rebuying and selling again over and over for more money . There’s your proof . In two years tmnt has gone up 150% how or why?
