    Yeah but I mean I didn’t look very hard but was just trying to see the damage to the holder.. which to me isn’t very apparent was looking for the cracks or the broken posts… is what I was missing

    Yeah check humidity levels and if needed buy a humidifier and de humidifier and use either one to help maintain the humidity level.. if it gets humid in summer use a de humidifier to help you out with that but the hydrometer Is a useful too they are like 20$ on Amazon too and will give u a idea of what to do etc

    I think the difference is your using a q tip/small cotton swab or ball to touch a small spot where the tape/glue is to help remove it the cleaning cgc is classifying is soaking entire books or coves/pages in distilled water and with chemicals to remove age of the book etc

    Usually the air is staticky from dry air so get a hydrometer and check the humidity level where ur storing the book storing comics you need to always be mindful of temp, humidity, light sources and storage material (acid free).
