  1. if Spidey was in the page it would certainly be priced well above the stated asking price.
  2. The Ditko would do very well in auction. Your best bet is getting them into Heritage's Signature auction were they will get the best return. PM if you need assistance contacting a Heritage assistant to value your pieces so that you may decide what you wish to sell.

  5. Question the discount is 20% if a piece is less than $500? hat if I buy 2 pieces that are less than $500, will the 20% discount still apply to my total?
  6. So it was going to be capped at 350 but they allowed 354, why not allow more? I'm betting they want to hire graders why not get in as many as possible?
  7. Jim is his go to person. I contacted him when I bought his whiteout cover
  8. Can I still participate or is it closed already? I didn't see the timeline in the rules.
  9. Can I participate? I didn't read the email 2 days ago but I wish to get in the contest.
  10. I think it is interesting to see that most of the highest value sales have come from Heritage, no Comiclink, Hake's or ComicConnect. This definitely reassures sellers that they have one of the best if not the best venue to sell art.
  11. Good afternoon: Just wanted to let other forum members and Original Art Collectors that I have the following pieces of art consigned to Heritage's Signature Auction ending next week: Locke & Key Alpha Issue 2 Cover art by Simon Bisley. This is a fabulous painted piece from the hit comic and TV show Locke & Key. Art from this series is hard to come by and barely makes it to the market so this is a perfect chance to grab a perfect example. Simon Bisley PAINTED Locke & Key: Alpha #2 Variant Cover Original Art (IDW, 2013) Shattered Image Issue 4 Pages 02 & 03 Double Page Splash art by Tony Daniel. The series that spit Image Comics and left Rob Liefeld's Extreme Studios out of Image comics, doesn't get more epic than this. Features characters from Gen 13, Savage Dragon, Cyberforce and Team 7 and is one that fans of Image comics will not want to miss! Tony Daniel and Kevin Conrad Shattered Image #4 Double Splash Page 2-3 Original Art (Image, 1996) Amazing Fantasy Issue 06 pages 08 & 10. This piece of paper features not 1 but 2 pages of art featuring Anya Corazon aka as Araña aka Spider-Girl. With the imminent release of Across the Spider-Verse Part 1 animated movie now is the perfect time to stock up on pages featuring characters related to Spider-Man. Just imagine this, what if Anya appears in the movie and becomes a Miles Morales love interest rivaling Ghost Spider? You'll definitely regret not getting in on the ground floor of an early page featuring here and featuring incredible art by Mark Brooks! Mark Brooks, Jaime Mendoza, and Victor Olazaba Amazing Fantasy #6 Story Pages 8 and 10 Original Art (Marvel, 2005) All lots are ending on Sunday January 16th which is next weekend. Good luck to those how want a shot at these pages. Thanks for looking!
  12. I see myself buying less and less comics and increasing my original art purchases. I have the added trouble to be located outside of the USA and have completely stopped selling items on ebay as I don't have a US Bank account for ebay to deposit my payouts so in a way my hobby revenue has already been affected.
  13. Y The Last Man OA prices surged right before the TV show. I should know as I took advantage and sold some interior pages and a cover before the show hit. After the show flopped and was ended before finishing its first season you could see prices were affected negatively as another cover from another artist different than mine sold for much less than mine. With Locke & Key I guess we will find out as I currently have a cover in the Heritage Signature Auction ending next week. The show has been a success and I am hoping the best on the outcome of the auction as I didn't really want to sell it but real life sometimes becomes a priority over art.
  14. I don't usually look for art I have purchased in CAF. I have been approached by other CAF members politely asking to remove my piece even when I usually place it in a sold/traded folder in my CAF. I was once asked by a different person from that which initially purchased the art from me and I agreed to take the piece off my gallery but I was curious to know what his purchase price was. He stated his purchase price and it ended up being 3 times what I had sold it for. lol.
  15. Thanks for the pictures! Now I want to buy more art,
  16. Its getting harder and harder to find affordable art each day!
