  1. How will we be able to look at what each seller is offering? Will we have to go to each person/business Gallery? Links would also be appreciated to jump on stuff as quickly as possible.
  2. let us know what the outcome of this ordeal is please.
  3. What Cardboard slabs? Very interested to know about them.
  4. Is this event exclusively for dealers, representatives and artists or can anyone participate affixing CAFCON 2020 to the name of For Sale listings?
  5. would you consider a trade for this piece?
  6. well if you want to part with it maybe we could trade?
  7. I like to get the comic and get it slabbed Signature series but that is not always happening. I definitely get a jpg of the published page for my digital records along with the high resolution scan I make of the art.
  8. Spencer is also in the process of updating his website. He is a great person to deal with as I have had the pleasure of dealing with him at a convention. I've also bought from his website but cannot recall how much time he took to get back to me.
  9. I wish I would have been buying art in 2003! Nice cover and a great story!
  10. Mike: Several pieces already appear as on hold or as sold as the one I picture above. I am wondering how I can get on this exclusive list in order to get the chance of purchasing items before you send out the email or publish it here on the forums or on facebook. Mostly interested in anything Sandman related by Neil Gaiman.
  11. I also have some of the published images. I also have some of the images I got from auctions or dealers or artists but I am filtering everything in order to consolidate only my scans. If I received a piece that isn't signed and I get it signed later on I like to keep both files (before and after signing).
  12. Yes, since I am outside of the USA when I travel to my friends house who receives art for me I scan everything at 600 dpi on a tiff file which I later convert to jpg in case I will show it to someone. I name the file with the artist name and the issue and page number. For example the shown cover is named EliasChatzoudis_ZenescopeIssue47Cover
  13. I also move it around but update the database when I do so. It is tedious but I feel it is a must as I don't want to forget where they are located. Now if I can just get about 7 more Itoya's to continue that trend with the art that is only in a mylar with a bag board I'll be okay.
  14. I number or assign a letter and number to each Itoya and then I just enumerate the pages (48 pages) and list them as such on my DB. I wanted to build an Access DB and I still would if I could figure how to use it. I¿d like to attach the 600 dpi scan of the piece to it for further reference.
  15. I have penciler and inker to my spreadsheet but have recently added writer to it too as I am going through a phase were I like people who worked on the comic to sign my pieces. I also have a description of page column were I state what is happening in the page and who the characters that appear in it are.
  16. I see how this would be helpful as I had an interested person in a cover I had on my CAF. I wasn't willing to trade at that moment but I might be willing to do it now. Can't contact that person because I don't remember who it is anymore.
  17. is this a recreation or the original art to that cover? I'd be interested if it isn't a recreation.
  18. https://www.comics.org/ is my go to site.
  19. what are the archival page protectors you found?
  20. The biggest piece in my collection, triple covers from the closing of ExMachina Issues 48, 49 and the double sized one for issue 50 by Tony Harris.
  21. yes, you definitely should have as he isn't the only one that has done covers for Locke & Key.
