Same price as the number of the issue, but they are selling for much more that that.
Thanks. I did see the 300+ eBay prices and was wondering about the markup/profit. Seems fair though.

I might have that one beat.
I sold a book on the boards, buyer kept asking me to hurry and send the book. The multiple emails so quickly seemed a bit strange. Sure enough the buyer had already put my scan up on e-bay. Lightened the scan and bumped the grade up.
Other than those that outright say "pre-order", isn't it against eBay policy to sell stuff that is not on-hand?

Every year, and I mean every year I walk by the Sergio Araggonies booth and there’s always a line.
Not always long but there’s a line. Yesterday I was walking by and there was just one guy getting a trade signed.. so I stood there then chose a comic he had for sale and asked him to sign it. I told him I chose the one with the dog because I just got a new puppy. He said do you want to see my inspiration and from his briefcase He pulled a photo of his dog. I asked if I could take a picture.
I think his dog's name is Rufferto.

Agreed!! I still give him a hard time haggling on the selling boards from time to time, but I always respect his price tag.

Now artists and even shops can have their own variants. Even found an eBay variant. What is the silliest variant that you've seen?

I like them especially if they blend nicely with the theme or cover of the book, purely aesthetics. But I agree, they shouldn’t add any premium to the value of the book and any seller promoting how better it is from the rest is just stupid.

I am probably in the minority - but I think it looks awesome as is. Not that getting it inked by McLeod is a bad idea - cause it will still look great. I do like the idea of getting it re-slabbed with the new Hulk label = totally worth it! Nice acquisition!
That's fair. Something on the back of my mind too, because the book was graded in 2010 and I hear that CGC has upped their standards since, I might risk a rating downgrade. I'll take my sweet time thinking about it.

Congrats! That is awesome. If you wish to go one step further (down the rabbit hole), I would love to see that cover inked by someone like Bob McLeod (who has done a bunch of Dale's covers).
Was thinking of the same thing of getting it inked, good suggestion on McLeod.

New eBay acquisition. I'm a big fan of Mr. Keown's art. Came in the old label, possible candidate for reholder with the new Hulk label.

Thanks all. Leave it or reholder? I don't display my books that much so it doesn't bother me, but not sure if it will make some damage if the book moves around a bit in the case with that paper sticking out like that.

Dark Phoenix blows.
Does SyFy's production of "Trans Morphers" count?

Agree on this one. Go directly to the source for a little discount.

Got this for a fairly good price on the bay.
Question: How is it that the publication date was 9/14 but was signed earlier on 7/25/14? I see this on a few books. Books released in advance?
