I thought the new labels don’t cross publishers.
Perhaps I can get the Spawn-Batman crossover on a Marvel slab

Interesting if this was intentionally allowed by CGC. (got this off FB, no offense meant to the owner, just an interesting combo)

More like earwax or poop. Smell it.

Assuming that the "CGC Sig Series" did not exist, where would you go to buy reputable signed comic memorabilias? If everyone (and even CGC) says COAs are worthless, then there's really no one to trust in a world without CGC SS.

eBay acquisitions. If you are boardies here, thank you.
Back from CGC Reholder. I chose the older 2019 Hulk label but came back with the smash one, guess they ran out of the old label. Initially had the microchamber paper obliquely showing.

I see more eBay listings now that highlight they are newstand versions. For the time being, it seems the "in" thing.

This has to be a record for a custom label reholder: mailed 1/17, received 1/21, grading/qc 1/27, shipped 1/28

The pic is a little deceiving. The hands are a bit darker and there is a slight bit of yellowing on the left elbow piece and the front left portion of the cockpit area. I will be able to bleach it out. The paint Scheme is damn near perfect though, not a single scratch. I have an Elintseeker as well. It’s mint and the box is also in great shape but the yellow portion of the planes nose has some wear from being in the box. Typical of that toy. I got both on eBay this one with tax and shipping was $900 and the Elintseeker was $750 after tax and shipping. They’re definitely the hardest to find in this condition out of all the 1/55’s. I would say that the VF-1S (DYRL) strike valk would be next due to it also being all white.
Here is a link to my collection:

Nice collection. Love those 1/55's. I only got the Takatoku VF1J, GBPP1s armor and Conversion Kit, and the Bandai reissues when they came out around 12(??) years ago.
Good luck with your hunt!

Nice, and in non-yellowed condition at that. The Ostrich and Elintseeker are hard to come by -- where did you score this?

Agree. These are tabs, not cracks. Most slabs don't have them and they are not shaped straight. I still don't get what the criteria is when they put in these tabs -- is it thickness or material?

I attempted to lightly tap it but didn't get anywhere. I'm just concerned that the micro chamber paper may press against the well walls and make an impression on the cover. I'll leave the FF#236 alone since its more straight but I'll send the Hulk for reholder.

I had reholder submissions last year in July and December. I noticed that the more recent submission removed the verbiage where it was signed.
They are both custom labels so it's not like they're saving label space or anything. And no, it wasn't continued on the back of the label.
I wonder if this is how it will be going forward, even for non-custom labels.

Is Supes #75 considered key?

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #1 (2018 foil edition) signed by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson ($200) - those specks are not scratches, they are the result of the plastic case pressing on the foil cover. These are very common on these full foil covers, unfortunately.
Spider-Man #23 Conclusion to "Revenge of the Sinister Six" signed by Erik Larsen (he said he's no longer doing CGC SS books, but whatever ) ($185). Gatefold wraparound cover, very nice and so 90s.
