  1. Nope. But this time I decided to have them pressed for Alex Ross.
  2. I doubt CGC will make an exception for Alex Ross. Then you'll have to make another exception for the next artist, and the next... And yes we are all on this board drinking the CGC Kool-Aid..
  3. My submission just went to SFG today 3/1. It is my belief he reserved these cards for the final batch of signing
  4. And then Gibbons was announced. This is gonna be a very expensive few months.
  5. Sending in my Kingdom Comes that just came back from the Mark Waid signing. Need to decide again if I should get them thick books/covers pressed.
  6. In-house Alex Ross signing announced!! Scratch one off the wishlist
  7. I think the overall consensus/observation is that a status of 'Received at CCS' does not indicate that your book has been signed or not. And you cannot tell until it goes into G/E/I. It is what it is.
  8. I still have three books with an “arrived at CCS” status for two months now. One of this is not true if the signing event states "Estimated turnaround time of eight weeks for CGC grading and CCS pressing".
  9. Yeah, I know from the get-go it's first-come-first-served so really can't complain. Funny about this hobby is how most of the excitement is about the wait and frustration, but once you get the book you enjoy it only for a brief time then store it in some box for eternity. Then you move on to the next...
  10. I've pretty much given up on getting an update from the Tord McFozlane signing (I'm one of the late submitters) since the status is not really indicative of what's going on. It gets here when it gets here
  11. Can't wait to get these from the CGC in-house signing. No pressing because of the thickness of the book and cover. Hope the sig placements are nice.
  12. Has this signing completed? I assume it has since I have books that went into 'Scheduled for Grading' on 12/14 and hasn't moved since. Can you check submission CGC3379102934, I thought in-house signings (no press) had a 4-week turnaround guarantee. Thanks.
  13. Mine for pressing has been sitting in 'Received at CCS' since 12/6. Still hoping for the guaranteed 6-week turnaround time with pressing.
  14. There was a time Liefeld wasn't going around much in the signature scene but he has been a regular lately, Deadpool is mostly what I see his signature on and perhaps a couple of Image titles that he created/co-created. Just had my Youngblood #1 signed at NYCC.
  15. Want to add Alex Ross. I'm pretty sure CGC can make this work in-house if they tried hard enough
  16. I sent in Kingdom Come books for the Waid signing, didn't opt for pressing since they were thicker bound books with thicker stock cover. I do have 3 McFarlane books scheduled for pressing that is in 'Received in CCS' since 12/6, again, hasn't moved since. Patience is key, I know. It gets there when it gets there. Unfortunately there's no firm formula/pattern.
  17. CGC works in mysterious ways... I have 4 books also for in-house signing (not McFarlane) that went in to SFG on 12/14 and hasn't moved an inch since.
  18. From NYCC 2022, all hail the great Rob Liefeld
  19. My books just moved today to SFG, so looks like it was done
  20. Any progress on the Mark Waid signing and when that's happening?
  21. I requested my CGC SS submission (2719477) to have 3 books with custom X-Men label but they all arrived with regular labels. The invoice clearly indicated this. Please advise how to get them reholdered back with the labels. I tried asking the same via the CGC contact webpage but hasn't gotten any response, not sure if anyone is monitoring that. Thank you.
  22. Paint pens tend to stay wet for a long time. Good luck with your sig not smudging and I hope my book doesn't get piled on top of yours.
  23. And yet here we are giving him all our money. I'm pretty sure he makes multiple trips to Sarasota, with CGC more than happy to pay for all his first class accommodations while there.
  24. Interesting if CGC themselves will adjust the value on these books.
