    I don't disagree with you, I think Batman #1 is a fantastic book, just not sure if all the recent exuberance has spilled over into GA books, seems to mostly be Silver, some bronze and 9.8 moderns. It's just a guesstimate, we shall see soon.

    I would probably buy every book ever, before ASM #1. The cover is just blah. And no huge first appearances, if you're a Spidey run collector, I get it. I've had 3 AF15s, and that book is/was super cool to own. I've had 2 X-men #1s, still currently own a copy, so I guess it's X-Men #1 for me. Plus, loved most of the Fox X-Men movies.

    if I remember correctly, the CL 4.0 copy was nicer than the 4.0 Heritage copy.

    I would pick the 6.0 X-Men 1, then I would sell my 4.0 copy and buy multiple Darkhawk #1s with the funds.

    Bought my 4.0 copy a year and a half ago. Paid a little more than that. So glad I did.

    In regards to supply of X-Men #1. Once you remove copies with Marvel chipping, yellowing covers, stains, etc. You've cut the number of more desirable eye appeal books down by half, just like with AF15. I feel that all grades will eventually rise, but the better eye appeal books are the copies getting the heat right now.
