  1. I wouldn't worry just yet. It is still under the review embargo timing. Here’s When The Suicide Squad Review Embargo Is Lifted That's not a great sign that the embargo is lasting until Tuesday.
  2. +1 Obviously a man with impeccable taste. Absolutely love the detailed artwork on this classic cover and have always thought it was undervalued as compared to some of his other noted classic covers such as Wonderworld 8 and Mystery Men 3. Speaking of detailed artwork, another Fine cover which I feel is underappreciated is the cover for Hit Comics #1. Nobody ever seems to point this one out, but I think it is an absolutely gorgeous rendering and Fine once again at his best. I have terrible taste but I still love this book.
  3. This book should not be trading at the same levels as AF 15 - demand was almost non existent before the tv show.
  4. Didn't enjoy this movie that much. Expect more from Singer in terms of pacing and a nice cohesive story.
  5. Maybe 29 is ready to take that jump now also. And deservedly so.
  6. Hope they do a good job - that original anime is incredible.
  7. Wasn't Blunt supposed to Black Widow ? Guess no better time to jump back on board then now.
  8. with that cover - man you really gotta love the DP to spend anywhere near that price for that book.
  9. Sure you're gonna make another Fantastic Four movie.
  10. Ouch. 18 reviews in on meta means it's gonna be a stinker critic wise. Trailers looked bad but Singer has made ok movies - seems odd to me to let reviews out 3 weeks early when they're not great.
  11. These side Star Wars movies all look a lot more interesting then the main events.
  12. So excited. Hope it can be a good follow up unlike some of the other ones we've seen recently.
  13. I know. Some people are crazy obsessed with wanting this movie to be seen as a failure when it was anything but a failure. Cause Marvel fanboy-ism still runs strong especially for people with "no dog in the fight" whether they choose to admit it or not. It seriously seems like grown men on these boards are doing high fives because this movie may not have lived up to the expectations that some placed on it.
  14. Cool trailer - looks better then the Force Awakens. Kinda amazing we re going to be getting Star Wars every year for the near future.
  15. Reviews are what they are at this point - this isn't the type of movie critics will like let alone enjoy. If you're a comic fan you'll probably be entertained for a large portion of it but it's still a Zack Snyder movie so go in with that expectation and I think you'll have a good time. Can you clarify this? Because Critics LOVE (I'd say overly love) the Nolan films and like many of the Marvel films, and Deadpool. A Zack Snyder led movie is a far cry from the comic movies you mentioned - he has his own distinctive style which you could say focuses mainly on visuals without much development of plot or characters. A lot of the same old this go around.

  17. No idea of the exact BO number/critic approval it needs to make but if it doesn't do well don't expect that full slate of DC movies they have planned except ones already filming.
  18. Does WB really want to hitch their wagon on Snyder ? Critics hate his films.
  19. Man someone tell this guy to get a real job. Or a more productive hobby.
  20. It's nice. Just don't understand why they don't CGC'ed it. Looks to me those in the market for a bargain minty copy have found their book. BTW I know Borock is grader over there and he used to be the toast of the town back in the day when he was primary grader here but his rep has taken quite a hit on these boards. I personally bought a 6.0 i was very happy with recently. Has the grading by and large really been that loose over there or are books getting under GPA mostly due to lack of name recognition? Been out of the loop so a brief update on the situation would be appreciated if anyone has the time. Depends on who you ask but I think they're a half grade looser in general then CGC.
  21. So what kind of estimate is there on how many copies are out there almost 15 years later ? I imagine the census is likely not 100% accurate on this book with possible overlaps for signed copies but curious what people's guesses are right now. I wasn't a believer in modern books trading for high numbers but if The Walking Dead with almost 700 copies in 9.8 can hold steady at 2K there's no reason why this book can't also. I guess it is the Batman key of the last however many years with a markedly lower print run.
