After freeing my collection of scans from photobucket I am organizing and enjoying them. I still have the actual book in most cases.
Seems like various long running titles deserve their own thread. I went back 15 pages and could not find a thread on Adventure comics so i am starting one off
Here are some of my earliest issues from that series. Not sure where GA actually ends but certainly by 247 ( my favorite issue)

Is it possible I’ve stumbled onto some pedigree books in the wild? Bought this one from my local shop, who picked it up from an original owner collection of a large amount of golden and silver age Strange Adventures out here in California. I bought the bulk of them and just realized the marking in the top left corner on this one. Could it be a lost River City?
Even if they are not pedigrees they are nice to have. What LCS in Los Angeles Has books like these? Most of the ones I have been to don't even have mush older SA let alone ANY Gold

I am not sure how many of these stories I actually read. my collecting began much later. I believe my first issue was Starfinger and I had to wait a full month and crosscountry vacation trip after 6th grade
my original run went from 335 to 386 a few issues after Supergirl took over the comic coupled with the increase from 12 to 15 cents.
This was the first series that I tried and succeeded in getting virtually every issue in the run.
btw the issues with the green dot is a system I came up with to ID my original comics when I got back into collecting in the late 80s

I am sure that some of the sharp eyes noticed that the Bambi 186 was the Non-four color reprint. Maybe they were wanting to be kind and not point out my error.
When I get the chance I will post my Thank you list of trading partners which details where I got each issue from. That list has grown to nearly 10 full pages.
Starting this group off with the real thing and working my way back among my earliest additions

after spending much of the day on comics I am about 1/2 done with fixing the names of the images so I could begin to reintegrate the 2 earliest phases of my four color collecting.
Then I will have to scour this computer to see what I have scanned/added since I stopped uploading to the bucket account
In this batch I have a couple of my Crippen's that I got at the Los Angeles comic convention from Ritter. A couple of those books had water damage. wow that must have been at least a decade ago

He seems to have sold off multiple signed copies of most all of the Marvel keys ( AF15 ASM1 Dd1 FF4 1 AV 1&4 etc) but the grade decreased often significantly. Wonder how many more AF15s he still has?
This round had many/mostly unsigned books. Did anybody win any of those?

Legion of Superheroes collecting thread
in Silver Age Comic Books
Posted
There must be a thread for NON LSH Silver Age Adventures. Until I find it Ill just post LSH here
I thought that they took over the series at 300 even if they were not on the cover for a few of those issues
