well  prior to adding  upgrades  to my wants  I added the missing  four colors.

Since my spreadsheet  is numerically based i would only have to reslot in the missing books so I could have those on the same spreadsheet.  

Speaking of the Missing  FC's  these came in today

I did pretty well  for 2020  especially  I did absolutely no in person transactions.  I now have 1257  issues

I am now down to 8 first series  needed  and only 82  second series  for a total of 90 give or take an issue.

I did  not do as well on my upgrades  as i still need 217 of those.

As soon as I typed I knew that there was no way I was going to improve the average grade anywhere near what  the .37  I threw out.  i quickly determoned I would have to pick up over 450 grade points  to accomplish that.  I would have had to upgrade 90 books by an average grade of 5 points  while keeping all new books at or above 5.

I was able to raise the average grade to 4.71  so there is hope that I could eventually get to 5.

by longest unbroken streak is now 93  from 111-203.

I still have not completed a single hundred series  as i need 1 book for the 100's  and 600's  and only 2  for the 1000's

the average grade of my books is only 4.63 with the lowest grades in the below 100 section as we would expect, in the low 3's but the highest grades are in the 6,7, 8  and 1100s  all of which are just over 5.

My goal for 2020  is add at least 25 missing books  and upgrade at least 50.  Would love to bring the average grade up to at least 5.0 as well 

 

 

 

With the pandemic  and way extra stress at the office as well as at home  I have not touched my tracking spreadsheets  since this post.

I have added quite a few books so I am sure it will take me a while to bring everything back in line.

I am officially down to under 100 books needed to complete  Both Series 2  and 1

A couple of years ago I decided to add in to the wants  were about 250 books that I felt needed to be upgraded .  of course those were secondary to filling in holes.

four colors have a lot of intersections  with Westerns   all the way through the 20+ year run

I am surely below 100  books  to complete this herculean task of completing the four colors either but I added over 2 dozen nice books during 2020

I am real happy with the scanning results  both for slabbed and raw books.

I recently got HBOMax as a part of my phone package.

Watched WW84 last weekend.  And started watching DOOM Patrol yesterday.

First two episodes were pretty good.  Robot and negative men were spot on , but Rita's ability was drastically.  More familiar with original series so I had not seen Jane.

Will likely binge more today

Also I noticed that I had not recieved an EMail  from CHuck this week.  Went to the website and it looks like no new books added to inventory since Saturday.  Looks like he was shut down 

I still contend that the attendance at the live portion of Heritages  online auctions MUST be way down.  Maybe that is why only one of my 3 offerings from Saturday session the March signature Auction  received a single bid from the floor..  For that matter neither did my HULK  181 in the earlier auction.

Well I got absolutely hosed on my entries in the March signature auctions

My New Book of Comics #2 5.5 sold for barely half of either guide or the last heritage sale from just December. 

Never heard one word from my heritage rep, nor do I expect to.  What can he say?  " sorry we suck" Once they had my books last September their communications were basically non existent 

here are a few I recently picked up from Blissard.  WHile none of these filled holes, they were all nice upgrades

So is there any discussion of the actual movie in this thread?  I saw it last weekend and enjoyed it.
