Your research and analysis on the subject of missing four colors has caused me to delve onto the situation.
It seems as though you have renumbered some of the books between your earlier list and the scans you recently posted.
While I agree with most of the books published I think there is a different way to analyze their order. If you look at the publishing number they are usually broken up into 3 sets of numbers. The last set is always an indication of the month and year published
so therefore all books ending in 207 were published in the seventh month of the year ending in 2 or July 1962.
The middle three digits vary, but seem to be able to be used as an ordering and for the 207 issues the numbers run from 053 ( Ken and Barbie which you ID'd as the first missing issue 1217) to 879 The Untouchables which you picked as 1327. Lining the books up as i suggest matches quite nicely with your listing with the major difference being the Mother Moose would drop from 1277 to 1322 and the books up to Follow the Sun would each jump on spot on the missing list..Part of this analysis also slots in Gyro Gearloose which has a # of 01-329-207 as filling spot 1315. The Numbers from 1316 through 1327 now match your list.
I have not yet understood the first 2 digits which are always 01 or 12, but treating the 12's as coming after the last of the 01's seems to agree with your work.
A similar analysis of the 208 issues lines the first 4 of those exactly as you have, but would bump Three Stooges from issue 1356 all the way up to 1340
Moving on to the 209 issues. The first of those 057 Beany and Cecil would fall to 1342, and each other issue you mention would fall one slot.
Treating the 210 the same way reorders the 1357+ issues with the series finally dying with the lone 211 issue Goofy Scoutmaster coming in at 1363.
I believe there are other books which could be slotted into this revised list such as Barbie and ken #2 with a number pf 12-053-210

Amazing Missing books Glen.
Certainly at least a few of those I had never seen or even heard of previously, especially the Blue Phantom
So with all of these new images do you have any more under copies to pass on?
Here is my latest slab, and a First Series to boot. I think I have a dozen slabbed issues, but even after these last two additions I am still in 25th place on the registry.

There is no rush on emptying your cart scrooge. I probably wont have time to build and send them a box for trade until after my tax season in October.
I enjoy searching their new in stock daily. The other day I added two books to my basket and by the next morning they had both been sold. Guess those (1102A and 1164 )might have been harder issues to locate.
I hope to at least break 1200 issues by the end of the year

Wanted to do a Market report on the State of FOur Colors at the recent Torpedo Con.
Out of the 20 or so dealers who were there, less than half a single issue and several more only had one
Bedrock had 7 slabbed issues and Harley had the same, but while they were all high grade only one was slabbed. I ended up with two of Harley's books. Bedrock and I hope to be able to work another mail deal
Metro only had 4, all of them the biggest of the Ducks.
Then there was Terry who brought a box from his inventory specifically at my request. I was able to find 28 books, mostly mid-grade, to fill holes the earliest of which was #5 raggedy Ann. Terry has worked his way into my top 10 trading partners with 51 issues now residing in my accumulation, however I fear than I have nearly depleted his inventory of the issues I still need.
After the show my updated census shows that I have 1173 issues and my wants are down to 175. Mycomicshop.com still leads the way with 86 issues. Most of the remaining issues are not that difficult to locate. I actually have 98 issues in my Active basket with MCS, and there are many more that are on consignment so are only in my Save for Later section of the basket.
Scans will follow later

I think I was able to ask every dealer if they had any Four Colors. As expected most of them had not brought any , but quickly added they had hundreds back at their store or warehouse. I will send my revised want list out to several of them in a few weeks. I am down to only needing 175 issues to complete both 1st and 2nd series
on my fifth stop I finally found Metro who had only 4, all of them early Ducks. Bedrock had 7 but the only one I needed was # 9 and it was out of my price range. I found a cgc 2.0 little lulu that way over priced among the three comic dealers that were relegated to the ART room so i did not even to try to negotiate
finally got to my main target Terry. he had pulled a box as per my request. spent quite a while going his books, and then having him go through several boxes of mine. we then did some horse trading and he got a really nice flash 139 as well about a dozen others. I got a nice stack of about 30 four colors headed by the first raggedy Ann #5 and #43 an early Popeye.
while this deal was working its way I got to see a lively discussion between Terry and Mike carbanaro regarding splitting a book. not sure how much of it was Schtick
after completing that deal I was going to circle back to metro and try to work a deal for the low grade #4 first series when I spotted a four color on Harvey's table. i had asked one of his workers hours earlier who said they would be filed alpha and confirmed that they had none so wad surprised to see that one. harley saw my list and and quickly found a small stack of file copies he had recently obtained as well as a sweet 9.0 slabbed 140. upshot was that I filled two holes with very high grade issues and Harley got a nice wwbn 32 and a couple of other books. I got cash to balance the deal , but I never made it back to Metro to attempt to strike a deal for the first Donald in the first series
all the more reason to come back next year

I was cleaning out a closet the other day and found my stash of Action Figures. I used to go by ToyRUS and and target and pick up discounted figures or others that I liked. I have somewhere between 50-100 all still OC mostly MOC, but a few are well worn cards. Mostly Star Trek and DC figures. Is there an easy site where I can look to see if I have any that ended up being valuable?

I know Chuck is in his early 60's ( as am I) and it is very hard to imagine him selling out. He is such a type A personality I cannot conceive of him not being involved in at least 10 projects at any point in time, and as much as he loves his farm there are only so many greenhouses and Chuck made lakes that he can occupy his time with

I was surprised at how the show had cleared out by early afternoon, but that was the time when I was able to work out two trades to fill many holes in Four Color run. I bunch from Terry, but mostly mid to low grade, and a couple of very sweet books from harley
The heat got to be a problem for me, but the ready supply of cold water in the hallway helped.
As a Los Angelino, I certainly plan on attending next year, and I really cannot imagine attending SD ever again.
recognized and talked to a number of the dealers, but not to any individual boardie

Just looked at my copy of 386. I actually bought it off ebay way prior to collecting Four Colors. Probably the first CGC book I ever bought. It is a PLOD 6.0 with slight professional color touch on the cover
-
Seems like a pretty strong price, but is a great copy of a key book that intersects many collectors want lists. I can appreciate the book even though I can't afford to play in that space.
I do hope that I am able to afford one of the lesser Mile High Four Colors when the Verzyl books come up.
Getting ready to go to the LAX show and hope to pick up a bunch of my missing 200 books

most of what I added were supplies. I added a case of 2000 life x tenders plus and a case of 1000 resealable bags and boards. filled out the order with a graded first series four color from A-1

Not sure if I should be thanking the OP or not. Instead of saving $25 on previous items in my basket, I ended up filling the basket almost over $600 so I could almost "take full advantage" of the coupon.
Great job of negotiating and and getting what you wanted in exchange for a book you did not need

Mitch
Last I looked on the website they still had over 50% left.
$25 at the door, but only 20 if you order online by I think tomorrow.
If your coming I would love to thank you in person

never used an ebay coupon
Just wanted to be clear
I can only use this on the items from one seller, or from more than one?
I can use this to pay for items I already have won and are sitting in my basket to pay for ( about $170) and the seller still gets the full amount?
Otherwise I would have to either "buy it now", win and PAY FOR today, or make an offer and PAY for it today?
Thanks for posting this

I will be there. Probably wearing a knit shirt that one of the EBAY COMICS chat board members made up back in maybe 2001? Not sure who was there or got one but it had a chatboard "seal of approval" patch. I know there are quite a few refugees from that place.
If not that then a t-shirt with that shows just a portion of the classis S shield as the outer shirt is being ripped open

I was a member of N.I.C.E. and bought my new books from them for perhaps a couple of years in the early 90's The discounts were pretty good and it was fun to get a box of books in the mail every month. I took a chance and ordered big of Superman 75 death issue 100 copies as I recall. Those took a couple of weeks longer than normal, but the order was fill. I think on those I got 50% off and was able to sell most of them for between 10-20 a book. I did so well on that that I took a shot on 100 of the Die Cut cover and Wolverine 50. I did not do as well on those, and I must have at least 80 copies left in 9.6+. That was the last time I really speculated on new comics.

Not sure how cheap that $20 was back in 1947.
Inflation in the 71 succeeding years would a factor of about 11.5 so $230 now
Very nice Church Four Color. Hope to be able to pick up at least a couple of the Verzyl copies when they come to market
