  1. Just curious, why stress out? Is there some fee on your part that doesn't get refunded if a buyer doesn't pay? Apologies, but I've never sold with MCS before.
  2. That would be cool. Kind of reminds me of a Quintesson from Transformers.
  3. User: rorschachs1986 The user bought an item (buy it now) for $27. Didn't pay. After a few days, he said he was waiting for another item to end before paying. I told him I don't have any auctions ending, he said he was waiting for someone else's AF15 to end so he could pay all of us at once. Have no idea what he's talking about. A few days later, I message his again asking of he's going to pay. He replies and says he's still waiting for the AF15 to end so he can pay all sellers at once. Not sure, but he could be overdoing it on the recreational drugs from his parent's basement. I cancelled the order and blocked him.
  4. Definitely an interesting way to capture the value of a segment of your collection. Not asking you to do more work, but curious to see how this plays out over time, like a weekly or monthly chart.
  5. Inner cover gate fold creates this line on the left side of the front cover, albeit not color breaking. Any thoughts on how CGC would assess this?
  6. Thoughts on the grade? Note the chunk missing from the back cover.
  7. I can't speak for the entire show, but all the big keys I saw were still on walls at the end of the show. My favorite was a guy asking 30k for a TOS 39 4.5. I didn't argue with him at all (I really don't like people being price police), so I just nodded my head, handed it back, and said "great book".
  8. I'd say 80% were from Michigan and the rest from out of town, mostly Ohio.
  9. I was there as well today. Overall nice show. Agree that most dealers had ridiculous prices on every major key. Amazes me that anything sells.

  12. Unfortunately, I'm out until Sunday, so looks like I'll be last to submit. Apologies.
  13. I was thinking the exact same thing (regarding color rub) , but then I found numerous 9.8 examples on ebay with as much, if not more, color rub. I still went with a 9.4 but was worried I was being too harsh. Turns out I wasn't harsh enough.
  14. I was thinking 1.0, but then I found numerous examples on ebay where similar size cutouts were getting a 1.5. Those ebay examples otherwise had very clean covers, similar to Rex. For a 1.0, the cover would need to be in rough shape. I think the 1.5 falls right in line with their standard.
  15. There are many many examples on eBay of 1.0 grades with covers completely split and detached. Also, the Avengers would need to have at least a third of the cover missing to be a 0.5. I believe both of these examples are 1.0.
  16. I've seen worse as a 9.0. This book seems graded properly.
  17. Did you call ebay yet to ask what happened?
