  1. Very nice indeed! Yep, I would bid on that if I saw it! And if you did not notice your 143rd post ended up on page 143! Nicely done sir! You are racking up the posts!
  2. That would be the Hundred I would go after! It figures it went for a higher price.
  3. I just gotta ask Terry, what else was in that months Hundred along with Flash? They were selective right? Not every DC title for the month could fit in a hundred pages. Or could it? These are so cool! I'm thinking I may try and pick up a sampling for my collection some day. Maybe one from each country? I loved the 123 from Mexico with the Bat-Man logo on the front! Did Capt. Boomerang ever appear on the cover of Hundred? That would be an awesome one to have! I'm going to look back and review the others that you've shared but I don't recall seeing him.
  4. The dreaded 'fat ray' of issue 115!Poor Flash will never live that one down , that and issue 177 which one do you guys think is funnier? By issue 132 they figured out a more pseudo-scientific way for Flash to deal with an unexpected weight problem. Great examples Frozen Tundra, thanks for sharing!
  5. And there's this: If you're into GL/Flash covers like me.
  6. One of my all time favorite Flash covers!!!
  7. And we are on page 143 now. Flash 143 has another great team-up with GL! I love these team up covers! DC's brightest new stars together in one comic!
  8. Thank you Flash fans! You all are amazing! I always wondered why some giants were numbered the way they were. One of the best things we have going here is the sharing and learning. I learn new things all the time from you guys and I really appreciate it!!!
  9. Just great Jaylam! Thanks for opening your books up for us and sharing. How do you get such great pictures of the interior of your comics??
  10. Here's my 142 as well so we can talk a bit about both the annual and 142 on this page. I bought the 142 in 2017 while visiting my home town from Mary's shop The Comic Book Warehouse. I've been buying Flash comics from her since the 1970's! The annual is from my 90's collection
  11. As promised : My son and I threw a 75th birthday party for Flash back in 2015, here's the invite and a group photo tons of fun!!! That's Jax as the Flash (like father like son of course)! You can see we had a pretty good turn out for the 75 year old hero. Batman, Poison Ivy, Spider-Man, Captain America and even a Power Ranger! How much fun can you have as a dad? It doesn't get much better than this, especially if your dad happens to be a Flash Fan! I know Jay was the one turning 75 but hey, the kids didn't even know who the Golden Age Flash was, but you can bet they did by the time they left the party. I had a retrospective set up in the guest bedroom, complete with comics from each decade. Oh and a create your own Flash comic book cover contest!
  12. I'll throw my annual out first to start things off and I would love to do the 80 page giants but will need some help in their chronology.
  13. Lessons from the master! I wish it were that easy. Love it!!!
  14. You guys are the best, thanks! I will move it up a slot and lets put out a call for those annuals and any 141's! Post 'em if you got 'em Flash Fans!
  15. I love it!!! Wait?? Why didn't we get invited to the wedding!!??I have another Flash invitation for you guys, you will love it! I'll dig it out this evening.
  16. I gotta check this out, because I thought I had all of Rebirth? I don't recall this cover. Its awesome!
  17. Flash Fans, we are getting close to the place in my box where I decided to put the first Flash annual. I have it set right in between 141 and 142. Did I place the annual in the right position? If so it's coming up fast!
  18. Just awesome Terry, Carmine's design and flow he was the master!!! Was it Anderson doing the ink?
  19. So it sounds like you got more than just the splash page? How many pages did you get?
  20. This is truly an amazing set Terry!!! So I'm guessing the comic came with the artwork? This is so impressive, to have the art he won and the comics he bought together! Now all we gotta do is find that Steve Cornell and see if he would part with that manuscript! Then you would have the trifecta!
  21. Any Showcase is a true treasure to own! You are a fortunate Flash fan indeed! I very nearly ordered a SC13 last week but I was 24 hours too late as MCS closed the day before. Crazy thing is I had been looking at it for about a day or so trying to decide if I should pull the trigger. So the day I decided to get it I put it in my basket and everything- then I read the fine print "closed until further notice, no orders will be processed"! I'm kind of trying to stay away from SC until I complete the S.A. run, but it was in my price range which is rare so...yep...it almost happened but no it didn't.
  22. Sharp eyes there Jalam! I'm missing 323 so that's why I did not see catch it! My modern collection is a patch work in the 90's through the early 2000's, only a hand full of the new 52 run, I chose to get it in TPB instead. I have everything in Rebirth though. So we will need a modern Flash'storian to solve this Scooby-Doo Mystery! "The day the Reverse Flash, reversed his emblem"
