I only have one of these...but i'll play I agree with the top 5 of the list (but would add more Flash if I could of course) As for the order of importance for the bottom 5, I would tend to put SC34 a little higher maybe? Should Batgirl be in there somewhere?...I don't know, great picks all of them! I did not read the Marvel thread so i'm not sure what type of discussion you are looking for here so I apologize if i'm off base.

I got 5 new issues in the mail this week! They are bronze age though, filling in holes and getting closer and closer to completing this run!!!

Here's my best 158 in the mean time: How many of these purple backgrounds did they do in the silver age?......108......147......128....143....153....139,let me know if you guys can think of some more.

Very nice copy there! I love that rich purple background! It brings back fond memories of my first copy of 108 from my original collection. Flash had a few of these purple backgrounds in the Silver Age come to think of it.

My first thought on this is 7.0. I think the main things holding it back from an 8 or higher are the small tears at the top and bottom of the cover. The corners are a little too rough for a higher grade in my opinion. Still a very nice copy though! I'd be glad to have it in my collection! Congratulations!

There's a Silver Age "Twins" thing going on right now, where you post a side by side photo of your international copy and matching US copy. You should post some of yours. Nobody was posting Australian comics.

I've started to wonder over the last two months or so...which one will end up being the last one I get? Will it be 106 or 110 or maybe it will be something unexpected like 323 or 285? There's no way to really know. Getting my 139 was a complete surprise last month. I was sure that was going to end up being one of the last ones.

For those of you keeping score at home here is my list as it stands today: Dang! It cut off the bottom, I just realized that. Well you get the idea anyway. Just 35 more to go Flash Fans!

Just a beautiful book to look at! Very nice copy too Terry! Once again you can see the mastery of design with the primary colors and of course the illustration combined with the hint of the story played out in the three panels. If you saw this on the newsstand how could you pass it up!?

Your cover is in better shape than mine Terry. Someday i'll upgrade too. MCS I've found has the best selection. They usually have multiples of every issue to choose from, which is amazing for me shopping on a budget. I can gaze lovingly at the 9.somethings and then buy the 2.5.
