My 139 came in today!!! So happy to have it. I really thought that it would be about a year or more before I would get one. Just goes to show sometimes you never really know when your are going to get what. I was really aiming for a 111 these next few months and stashing a little away for my planned 106 purchase sometime early next year but sometimes things change. If you told me last month that within weeks I would have a Showcase 13 and a 139, I would have never believed you! ... its all part of the fun of collecting.

I just received my Flash 139 from Jim! Very accurate grading on this raw book. Very well packaged and shipped fast! Great communication throughout the transaction. I highly recommend him and hope to do business with him again! Thank you again Jim!

That's strange? I've always been curious about their process when re-encapsulating comics. Do they give it a new catalog number each time? And what does that do to the census numbers? I mean, I've heard some people just send them in a second time just to see if they can get a better grade. Do those comics get counted twice in the census?

I've seen 3 of these bands live. Motorhead, Deep Purple and Kiss 3 times maybe 4 times, I cant recall. They were all very loud. Motorhead was outside so maybe not the loudest in my experience. Kiss had a lot of explosions which just added to the already ridiculous volume. But I believe Black Sabbath was the loudest in my experience my ears were still ringing well into the next day as I recall.

it's not in the Showcase issues right? Because you said 'Flash Comics' and its not Golden age right? It looks early and I just checked my 105 so its not that early. Can I buy a vowel? LoL! Is it a 10 cent issue or a 12 cent issue?

We all may need to chip in here to figure this one out. Judging form the style of the art i'd say it would have to be pre 1965? And its not an 'Amazing Speeds' feature... so it must pre date that?...I will have to do some digging later and see if I can find it...

I got this in 2016, things were really starting to roll for me then when I realized I could pick up these back issues (in less than desirable shape) for $30 or less. I started buying 3-4 at a time! Is this the first time Flash reveled his identity?

Flash 130 and yet Weather Wizard does not appear on the famous Rouges cover as he makes his appearance in the Kid Flash back up story.

Nice! I'm looking for a decent 117 myself. I hope to pick one up this year. I've been meaning to ask Terry if Cpt. Boomerang had an impact on Australian fans back when he came out? Did it boost sales of the Flash? How did you fans feel about your fictional fellow countryman and his appearance in Flash comics?

I remember buying that 236 off the spinner at the circle K. Those were my prime childhood comic book days, 20-30 cent covers! My allowance was 75 cents a week, so that meant 2 comics and maybe a candy bar. If there was a Flash on the rack that would be my first pick of course, then Justice league or Detective Comics, Daredevil or Avengers would be among my second or third choices. Good memories!

That is quite the haul (even if they are Marvels)!!! I'd love to find a stash like that
