  8. I will share a photo later of the #1 from 1987, as I am out of town but I was just wondering if there are any other SA collectors out there like me that are considering filling in those lost Barry years.

  10. For you Flash collectors out there, how many of you are striving towards a complete run? I am curious, am I an outlier? I am now thinking about filling in all the gaps from 1987-present. Is that madness?
  11. Yes you can still find Undergrounds on ebay although its hit or miss. Many recent searches were disappointing. The books I looked at last month were not in very good condition and seemed to be overpriced in my opinion. I ended up shopping here on the boards instead and am very pleased with what I got. Whatnot sounds interesting but they way it's run I am curious as to how they would end up and if you would get what you want out of them. Have you considered a sales thread here on the boards? I do have a friend that sells trading cards on Whatnot and loves it. Anyone else know any more about Whatnot?
  12. Very nice pick ups there! Congratulations! That's worth at least a couple of dancing bananas!
  13. I'd say it has a decent shot at a 6.0 with a good clean and press. Nice catch there FTG!!! Thanks for sharing!
  14. We laughed all night! Read them on Christmas eve! And toasted to Aline, she was so funny, love her sense of humor!
  15. I found this little gem on YouTube tonight! Thought I'd pass it along...enjoy!
  16. Here are the first 4 of some great Undergrounds I picked up last month! (More to share later )
  17. These color guides are very interesting Terry! I'd like to know more about them in the process. As far as production goes I would think the colorist would like to have a mock up a bit larger than the original to work with. But the originals were on bristle board and were about 1/3 larger than the finished page. These color guides are only slightly larger. What medium did they use to mock up the color, can you tell? Another burning question in my mind has always been is were they reproduced in true CYMK 4-color process from these color guides or were they reproduced using registered overlays and hand cut tones and values? I've never taken a closer look with a loop on these interior pages.
