  1. I heard a rumor at my LCS today that a nearly complete run of GA Flash sold on eBay for 6000$. Does any one else know about this?
  2. I'd say 7 as well unless there was some amateur color touch there on the spine. That could drag the grade down a bit. Are you selling ?
  3. I don't know, I think I'd go a bit higher. It seems to be structurally sound. Besides the fox ing and a little water damage (mostly on the back cover) I think it could it could get a 4.0. Maybe even higher judging from the grading contest this year I'd say it could get a 5.0. I'll never forget Millie #4 i believe it was - had about the same amount of foxing/discoloration and it got a 6.5! Subtract the water damage I get 5.0. It has some creases, some chips.

  5. Love those ad's for other comics. It always made me excited for the next issue!
  6. The "infinity gauntlet" of super villains! ?
  7. That 146 is nice! Sounds like it was a good deal too?
  8. Does any one know if there's a Golden Age Flash thread? I've tried searching but have had no luck so far.
  9. The last Overstreet guide has a great section in it where they take ASM 50 and show it in all major grades.
  10. I'd say it's a 5.0 as well. It actually matches up pretty closely with the ASM 50 5.0 shown in the grading guide.
  11. Ding, ding, ding!!! Yes! You must be at least as big a Flash geek as I am.?
  12. Yes!!! Catch me it you can! And for the follow up... The counterfeiter in the movie used an alias to hide from authorities. What was his alias?
  13. Flash trivia anyone? What fameous movie did this issue appear in?
  14. I believe it should score a 5.0. However because of the "GA bump" it may get a 6.0. The inks look great and cover does not appear to be loose. Its main issues seem to be the accumulation of stress on the spine, some color flecks and of course the foxing/discoloration on the back cover.
  15. I think with a pressing it could get a 9.0. Nice copy! Really cool book?
  16. Oooooo! Such a great book to have! Amazing copy too!!! I think it could get a 9.0 maybe a little higher.
  17. My vote is for Kid Flash. Of course?. Teen Titans was such a huge hit for DC in the SA. Such a huge boost for Flash in general. Remember Flash only got 6-8 issues annually in the early 60's it seems that DC had some reservations about the title in the beginning. Kid Flash, I believe helped solidify that title and turn it into a monthly title. If Flash had failed would we have had Green Lantern and others?
  18. Beautiful book!!! I love the Evil Knievle add! That was THE toy to get when I was a kid?. 9/9.2 IMO.
  19. It looks to me that the cover was miscut at the bindery. Without that defect I'd say 5/6.0 range. That defect would take it down at least one whole point. Putting it in the 4-5 range IMO. Nice book to have!!! We are jealous!
  20. That's awesome! Brings back memories. I bought that issue off the rack at circle K back in the 70's. Good to see it again!!!
