  1. I'd rather have a Chalizard in 2.0 condition....a 1990's GAME USED Chalizard.
  2. While 90% of the Action 1's were tossed around.
  3. And with 95% of the Chalizards collected & preserved from Day 1.
  4. If we have to debate if 200-300 existing 1938 1st Superman's is better than 20,000+ existing 1995 1st Chalizard's....we're never gonna get anywhere.
  5. The comic hobby was even less developed back then than it is now. Not more developed. Without pressing & cleaning....I'd guess 5 copies of MF 73 are out there that are 8.5 to 9.0, at most. 1 9.2 if they're very lucky.
  6. Yes. We all end-up gravitating to what's better....after initially starting with what we know and like.
  7. I guarantee....the guys who pay millions now for Pokémon or cards will soon figure-out that Golden Age key comics are the best.
  8. Recently in another thread here, I said that many GA keys should be worth 8-figures....compared to the recent sales of sports and Pokémon cards. So I'm not a hater. But points like I'm making haven't been addressed. Please feel free to set me straight with facts & analysis. And I want everyone to do well. I suggest throwing down on MF 31, Human Torch #3(#2), other 'cameos'....most recent valid (unlike other hobbies where older is better) drivers licenses and passports of dead celebrities....
  9. I generally agree with this. But the 10X bump MF 73 got 7 years ago only brought about 5 more unrestored's to the census. And none above 8.0. Do you think those collections built up way back included MF 73 ?
  10. First off....is the 9.8 Cap 1 for-sure the single best? Second....if/when these (& Flash 1 Church) go to anonymous auction....what if China or the Middle East has a $50B fund to acquire stuff like this?
  11. Hulk #180 is clearly the 1st app of Wolverine. Do your own research, and use your own eyes. Don't believe the media when they say the $2.2M Batman #1 is a Top-5 comic....there are dozens of better ones....and some are going to be worth 5X that soon.
  12. The comic hobby is not fully developed yet. There are opportunities to make huge $....if you can hold onto them for 10 years or more. Buy More Fun 31, Human Torch #3(#2), etc, for your kids or grandkids. Also current valid drivers licenses & passports of dead celebrities. Buy GA comics with 1st appearances of the best characters who haven't exploded yet.
  13. Thanks for addressing the issues I raised. Which is 14th Batman & 1st Joker & Catwoman....vs 1st Aquaman & Green Arrow. Plus the 9.4 pressed-up from 9.0 vs the Church copy. 10 years into the future....what do you all predict the price comparison will be?
  14. There are currently 2 copies above 8.0. How many above 8.0 do you think exist....or will surface in the next 10 years?
  15. MF 73 fans....simple questions have Batman fans on the run....seems like....
  16. Ok. Movies aren't everything. Does Batman's 20th appearance trump Aquaman & Green Arrow's 1st appearance?
  17. Did you see Gal Gadot singing 'Imagine' to us?
  18. Ok. Are Heath Ledger (Brokeback Mountain) and Joukin Penix really so much cooler than Jason Momoa and Stephen Amell ?
  19. Most of you say Batman #1. Let me ask you.... Would you rather own a 9.0 Batman #1....with 4 tied and 3 higher Or the single best existing More Fun #73
  20. This Trinity thing....is it a real thing? And if so, will it continue? Does everyone really love Wonder Woman so much that her one-of-several-maybe 9.4's is better than the single best Church Aquaman & Green Arrow ? Her movie flopped big-time.
  21. Joker > Aquaman & Green Arrow ? Same answer after my edit? Which is to hold onto....not to re-sell now.
  22. If you own or collect Wonder Woman....Batman, Joker, Catwoman....or Aquaman or Green Arrow....you must disclose this info.
  23. ....All Star Comics #8, non-pedigree....that recently sold for $936K. ....Batman #1, non-pedigree, cleaned & pressed up from 9.0....that recently sold for $2.2M. or ....More Fun Comics#73, Edgar Church....off the market; recent sale is a 4.5 for $48,333. ....For your personal enjoyment. To hold onto and pass down....for 50 years.
  24. Reassemble the Golden Age Church comic books??
  25. The Phantom's 1st appearance in comics isn't as desirable because he appeared in other media before. So Ace Comics #11 isn't his 1st printed image. My opinion is....a comic being slabbed shouldn't change it's desirability. For instance, you know you have Aquaman's 1st appearance if you open up More Fun #73. And he didn't appear in More Fun #72 or in any other earlier comics.
