I'd be surprised if more than 10% of auction results are actually real. If you think the Trout, Giannes, Pokémon...common issue comics for $20k....SAs for $100k+.......is legit.......you ought to have your head examined. The auction houses own most of the items. They have rooms stacked to the ceilings with GA comics, pristine new comics, etc.

None of these common issues. Throw down 20% on a key, yeah SA 1st app. Or celebrity current valid drivers licenses or passports when they died. I like 'cameo' and 'ad' 1st appearances. But not high grade common boring issues.

SA will always be GA's little b---- . But not this way....this 'pedigree' is more boring than Little Jackie Wright's little old bald guy replacements on the Benny Hill Show.

CGC has stacks of crappy common-issue GA comics stored in their warehouse. They clean & press them and proclaim it's a new pedigree. They get everyone thinking they're worth $10K each.

Guys accumilating $5-$20M in Pokémon, Trout, Mantle, etc. will sell it all to throw-down on a 1st appearance Church Justice Leaguer.

The old CGC labels from 20 years ago...old style...should command a big premium. Especially Church copies. Those are the only comics that haven't been tampered with.

The Church Action 1 & Tec 27 should be worth $30M. The Church Flash 1, AA-16, & MF-73 should be worth $10M. A single best existing copy of Batman 1 & Cap 1 should be $10M. AS-8 $5M.

GA comics are much better than SA comics. Invest in comics with 200 existing rather than in comics with 30,000 existing....no matter what anyone says or what the prices are. Go for More Fun #31.... Human Torch #3(#2)....and other pre-first-appearances. Buy current valid drivers licenses & passports of celebrities who died.

This board is great for everything.... except investing advice. Great. Fun. Friendly. Helpful. Informative. Etc, etc. But the investing advice is total complete s***....dog-doo-doo. Use your own mind about what might skyrocket or not in value.

There are other threads on here about 9.4 AS 8, MF 73, Batman 1....with little or no context about the grade. Just assuming it's the single best existing....and sounding-off about the auction result. Totally ridiculous.

Yes. But for right now....how about acquiring the 1st published image of Psalm 50:10 on a t-shirt. for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. Underrated....#1 to help sadness about pets.
