Funny... My WoS came back from CGC as a 9.2 W, which was unusual for my graded books. Most common grade was 9.8 W, then 9.6 W, out of some 700 graded comics from my collection. The WoS 36 9.2 sold for $45. After grading, I still made $15 on it, which is way more than I would have made if I had tried to sell it here or at a table, raw.

Another update! Just dropped off most of my remaining comics, about 700 NM Spidey books, plus misc books and supplies, to Pulp Fiction Comics in Long Beach. Very happy to have my comics room mostly empty aside from a few things I'm keeping for myself. Thousands of comics sold, donated, and several hundred CGC'd still up at MyComicShop.Com in Texas. I will have a few more items to unload here or on eBay in the coming months. Overall, I've done what I set out to do...my collection is out of the home, and we still have money coming in from the auctions. Folks, Hopefully many of you have checked out my ongoing sales thread in Moderns, but it looks like I may have a bunch of comics and supplies I can donate to a deserving comics shop. Any recommendations for awesome comic shops and owners in the LA area? I have misc CGC supplies, Mylar bags, boards, and comics. I used to visit local shops in other areas where I lived, but I haven't been buying new books in years. Let me know what you think. Maybe a shop that's active here on the boards?
