  4. Very nice Count, I need to get a couple more Moore Fanzines Some of these look strangely familiar (?) Ha, I'd guess at least 80% of Alan Moore/MiracleMan related fanzines on the market came through you. I'm still thrilled I got your Fe#5 awhile back. Wish I could meet Mr. Moore and have him sign it. many thanks I've actually got my 2nd copies of MSH 387 & 388, SE 52, SE 68 & Warrior 1 ready for ebay on Sunday the Warrior no.1 is NM- about as good as you can get them
  5. perhaps it's a tribute to the original Eclipse release schedule - 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 16 months, 23 years etc

  7. Hi Rick The 3 Marvelman's date from late 50s / early 60s and would probably fetch between $20-$50 on ebay, depending on grade. Very early issues of the long run would be much higher. The "Miracle Man" issues are nothing to do with Marvelman / Miracleman but are a complete differently character (of German origin I believe?). However, they are still collectible, $10-$40 range perhaps.
  8. It's free of charge if CGC made the error. Ship it back. +1 I just had to do this with an east of west double cover that was mislabeled and they were very helpful and the process was quick especially compared to how long my fast track took in the first place Good call. I'll have to send it back to them with my next submission. I went searching for a UK copy online and found this copy raw on ebay. There was no mention of the Moore signature in the listing so I was pretty stoked when I received it and found it inside. Fantastic find. I've never had that with a Miracleman book but once bought a Swamp Thing Annual no.2 that had been signed on the splash page by John Totleben, Steve Bisette and Alan Moore
  9. Nice find - UK copies with Alan Moore signed are very tough what's the origin please?
  10. looks REALLY good for it's grade! very nice book
  11. Yup. Are any foreign printings of comics worth as much as the original American versions? -J. No, because they're reprints. They're not technically reprints but they are foreign and they were released after the original american copies. Most collectors don't want them in their collection regardless of how steep the discount. That will likely always keep them at around 50-60% FMV of the American copies. -J. They're absolutely NOT reprints. Much research has gone into this... they were printed at the same time, on the same presses, and some thoeries even suggest before the USA versions! They are "original editions with UK price variants" And probably 50-100x rarer than the corresponding cents copies! It's the same principle as the famous 30 & 35 cent variants... just imagine Britain being one of the states where the variants were distributed However, I can understand the market but it's slowly changing - certainly massively in the last 20 years. <3 As true as all that may be, most collectors simply don't want foreign books mixed in with their original American runs. They're interesting as a novelty or for those who specifically pursue or want them however. -J. I understand that J But they are NOT "foreign" - they were copies printed on American presses the same time as the cents copies, the only difference is the pence price and that they were intended for a foreign market They are a 100% genuine and legitimate - and much rarer - price variant However, all is cool and I love cents copies as well

Long time not here Thought i'd update you on my Miracleman / Warrior / 2000AD vintage badge collection which grows over geological time (all of these are very rare early 1980s ORIGINAL badges / pins - the Marvelman ones from 1950s) Very pleased to have found a Warrior "BIG BEN" badge!!! The Gold Dredd badge at the top is from 1983 - 1st Forbidden Planet badge - actually gold plated - (not to be confused with the Prog 300 plastic one or modern versions) Enjoy my Christmas tree
