  2. Suicide Squad 7 should actually be worth more then 6...eventually we will see a market correction?
  3. It's been a wild ride...no doubt about that! That is my 2nd Bleeding Cool story in a month. The last was the record setting Walking Dead 19 CGC SS! All I can say is call me crazy, but at the end of the day, as I have stated over and over... If it sells, great. If it doesn't, oh well. Nothing to lose.
  4. Are these noted on the label as Error Editions or just manufactured mess-ups..
  5. I guess that is why they call it a 'signature'...not like it's changing and I'm sure he signs contracts the same way?
  6. I love you guys are fueling the OA market on WD!!!! Keep it going!!! Just for fun...
  7. I still need a 2nd print in 9.8 type condition!!!! Someone trade with me
  8. I bought #1 off the stands and never stopped . Was refreshing at the time and that cover was eye catching!
  9. C2E2 report... Walking Deads... All priced at top dollar amounts and several well respected gold and silver age dealers buying 1s for top dollar and filling their walls with WDs. Sales? I saw a 19 and 27 sell as well as every 1 in the show disappear. All other books were left sitting in the displays. 1 dealer cut prices in half on the random issues and his wall was gone in 30 minutes. ToT was a non factor but dealers were offering them and showcasing them. CPG sketchbook was an almost instant sellout and Mind the Gap ashcan was gorgeous and selling briskly. Both CPG and Mind were also being bought by dealers. Saga RRP was a hot book if you could find it. Prices were at $200 per by the end of the show with $100-$200 realized prices. GFT books were not appearing to do anything at the exhibitor booths each time I walked by. There was a gorgeous EBas cover for something that looked amazing from the production value. Incentive and Variants were abundant with a few dealers offering $5 each with several long boxes or 50% off right away. High grade Walking Dead books did sell but not anything below NM+ and it had to be strong! Walking Dead 53s...$60 per and sat there all weekend. Spike was too quick and should level off by the next show I would assume. Valiant booth was pretty steady. Not much happening but I see that there are going to be bright days ahead if the books and talent hold up. They appear to really want people buying and want to be a player. Shia Lebouf was the best part of the show and one of the nicest and most modest celebrities I have met. Very down to earth and wants to buy Mahnke art Sketch covers still a hot item to get done and a mix bag on rates and results as always. Anyways... From eBay to a show there are some tidbits from the show floor and how it will relate to eBay?.... JJ
  10. I helped someone out with the French dealer and item received perfectly. Prices seem heavy for later issues though...
  11. My 2 cents and I have been saying this to friends for the past few weeks... There will come a day where there are too many sellers and not enough buyers. Happens with everything. Supply and demand. The cream is going to rise to the top and those that were in on it early and inexpensively are okay if the prices settle down or even drop because it is still better then it was a year ago on almost all issues. For those just getting in and check their LCS for any old random issues. That is truly a gamble IMO. Because clearly everyone is doing it and offering them up with the hopes they sell and when competition happens, prices drop (good for buyers, not so great for sellers). Case in point... Walking Dead 19 CGC 9.8 For awhile either Branget or myself were the only ones offering them. Little competition (one had a BIN, the other an auction) and there was not enough supply to meet the demand. Now there are several (hovering around 9 per day) of graded 9.8s in some format, all with the pricing based on the Michonne reveal. It was stated earlier and it will happen eventually. Walking Dead Weeklies are not the way to go. From an investment to a quick flip unless you are as Kev said you can get them cheap, I would caution anyone on these. Some key issues are hitting $50 marks and that doesn't suprise me. Actually they should be hovering around those prices based on character first appearances or major deaths. The simple point is this. There are a lot of people making a buck off the series and I congratulate them for it. More people buying the series is good, more people searching for back issues is great also, but clearly there are 2 camps here and 2 ways of thinking. In early, less risk and can ride out any bubble (when it comes) and those that are in late (very high risk and can't afford to ride out the bubble (when it comes). If buying WD issues, don't buy gimmicks. Buy the original issues, but the original series and buy with a purpose. Just because an LCS has 50 random issues doesn't mean you need to buy them all, buy the ones that you know are worthy of purchasing. I went to ECCC and went through several dealers stock before the show opened. I bought 12 issues all weekend. 12... I could have bought 300, but why? Grade was an issue, common issues were in multiplies, but the 'key' issues were scarce and when found in high grade well worth the price. Anyways, my little knowledge drop of sorts and hopefully helpful. Again, not against anyone making money off of Walking Dead and love to see all the issues available. I would just caution anyone investing $150 in order to make $40 profit or break even after time, scanning, shipping, fees etc. As I always say, just because you can...doesn't mean you should... JJ
  12. If only you had some duplicates of another issue to trade. I know... If someone offered me a case of the 2nd prints, I would probably be forced to trade 1 of mine...
  13. I need a 2nd print of 33 still... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh
  14. I haven't sold a lot believe it or not, still sorting through long boxes and finding a random issue here or there. I think I finally have the issues I want to sell currently ready and will probably move them this weekend. It has been fun and realistically for what I have in them, the bottom could fall out and go back to prices a year ago and I still will not be concerned (if that makes sense)...
  15. ya ever have those moments where you feel satisfied after years of knowing it was bound to happen and you stay the course? That is how I feel about Walking Dead. Damn Great Feeling.
  16. Meaning a cover is about 10k I take it your getting last years price offers on covers? Feel free to pm me if you are looking to sell in that price range Chris. I might have a few people...
