Tony has in the past sketched on books and he has done some for me the past year or so, but I refuse to sell those issues. He did them as a favor and is very much not in favor of sketched covers being resold by the person getting them. I totally respect that. Junk, your books were from a year or so earlier I think?

The one currently on ebay sold for $2K last time, and now is sitting at some silly price. There are three 9.9's out there (two of which are SS). I went through copies of his in the hotel room as he sketched on the ones I prescreened. We were all very happy that 2 of them came back 9.9...1 actually was a 10 before QC brought it back down to a 9.9.

I will ask them to not post that. First off, you are correct it is between myself and 2 other individuals who I do not sell items to in the first place. And I would rather see people I consider my friends make money vs lose money, as that is the purpose of selling. Plenty of good people caught in the crossfire and nothing I can do about that, sorry it came to that...

Sadly I have to agree on this, never paid for his items that he purchased a couple of weeks ago and has not read the PM. A new member that looks to be fly by night... Sad that I really have to consider not selling to anyone unless they have a set amount of time on the boards or posts...yes it is going to happen...

I also want to state that Vin has made good with myself also and everything is squared up between us. I would like to remove him from the Probation Thread, he resolved the issue and has worked hard to get himself back on track!

Time payments ONLY I am just hoping we can make it work still, bottom line it would be nice. I realize things come up, so hoping he and I can work it out, but like I said, not looking good. I am sure we can work something out on the $200 if he passes, like it possibly going to shortstackcomics, who is owed a good portion. I would have no problem with that. So... hopefully something will come out of it in the end...

VIN has been on the probation list since 11/04 I know this, just adding my 2cents for future reference

Well, hate to do this but need to add VIN to the Probation List. In early September he agreed to purchase 3 books for a total of $600 and was offered a discount on those books. The books remain in my possession until payment is made in full. Since September 2 payments of $100 each have been made on the books. The first payment was right away, the 2nd payment came after I told him that if the books were not paid in full, I was keeping the books and the down payment. Immediately another $100 was sent with the promise of another $100 each week thereafter until paid in full. 5 weeks later, nothing and my PM from 2 weeks ago has not been read. The last message I left stated he has until the end of the week to make payment in full for the remaining $400 or lose the books and payments made. I mean cmon, time payments and a discount and it can't be followed through? Sorry, lesson learned, and hoping he can make it work, but magic eight ball says the future looks cloudy... JJ

I love Humberto...someday I want to own a CGC SS Sketch of his (you would think I would have one already, but never get the time to get in line!) So if anyone has one...hit me up! JJ
