  1. I'd really like to see that 'color-corrected' MOS version VideoLab did. Getting rid of that "dark knight" dullness would make MOS fresh again, fun for a new viewing.
  2. One scene in BvS Preview2 is my new favorite. Made me come up out of my chair. Yeah!!! About f'n time!!! FINALLY, finally, Batman is seen moving with the speed and grace of Batman Animated. FAST, nimble, there and gone! Don't know how to edit clips so I did screen-grabs. The scene doesn't even last a second. Batman lands, twists, batarangs and GONE, just as the corner explodes. Decades of waiting, and there it was. Finally.
  3. Small correction - The episode where Superman wears the batsuit is "Knight Time". (One of my all-time favorites. )
  4. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Wolverine and the X-Men series. It had plot-continuity from E1 right through the final episode. Binge-watching probably helped the story line gel. Might give that one a shot. And Planet Hulk was enjoyable as a 'Heavy Metal' space fantasy. Just don't expect him to revert to Bruce Banner. For some odd reason the left that element of the Hulk-mythos out. I kept waiting...and...never happened.
  5. It's the biggest no-brainer in the history of resurrected tv shows. Do it Netflix. DO. IT.
  6. 100% agree. Having been a lifelong DC fan I truly feel that when Batman the Animated Series began, quickly followed by Superman Animated, it provided a 2nd chance to become a diehard DC fan all over again. And to this day, without a doubt, THE best Universe when it comes to DC and quality enjoyment.
  7. I agree something seems to be missing from the recent ones as late. Is that because Bruce Timm and Paul Dini don`t have the same control? I gave a heads-up on Batman: Bad Blood and later my thoughts (DC is heavily invested in Damien). What I personally think is missing is "scope". Which is hard to pull off (and Bruce Timm was excellent at). Giving the viewer a quick sense of epic-context, what came before with the grandness of what comes next. An embedded sense of the DCU entire. Without that, these last few are stand-alone single-issue-type tales imho. Some good, some not so good, just not 'great'.
  8. Your posts always give me a heads-up there's a new episode to watch. Thanks man!
  9. Just a heads-up that Netflix has added some animation for the 1st time: Justice League:War, Justice League: The Flash Paradox, and The Batman (seasons 1 -5)
  10. Nice photo share. One thought looking through them: Bat-characters are looking more and more like Iron Man. Armor galore. What character is this one? At first I thought Nightwing with the batons. But the mask and hair don't look right. Whoever it is they should sell that Base separately. Perfect for Superman.
  11. Nice. That Bat-Samurai has one of the cooler bases seen in a while. Very creative.
  12. Nearmint posted the sculptor Erick Sosa had it on his facebook page. So I googled 'Erick Sosa Kingdom Come' and this popped: KINGDOM COME Superman | PrototypeZ Studios LLC It shows $449.99, but you'll have to ask Nearmint if Erick Sosa's Facebook announcement offered a different venue or discounted price.
  13. Life size!! If the eyes are bright enough it'd make a hell of a floor lamp. Maybe a sewer-cover end table to go with it.
  14. How cool. Thanks. His eye for anatomy, proportion and detail is amazing. Absolutely nailed the Alex Ross interpretation of Superman.
  15. Just finished episode 10. So, so good and getting better. The Expanse is in a class by itself imho.
  16. Yeah, it would be easy to misinterpret. You can see the dynamic when the boyfriend/best friend calls Quentin to come help with her moodiness. Quentin is long-suffering and it helps explain why he had self-admitted to a nuthouse. Julia's his lifelong anchor, and without her he's completely adrift.
  17. Yeah! So glad you're liking it. One small perception-shift though. About Julia... she's not Quentin's sister. She's the since-childhood-love-of-his-life. She's dating his best friend. Check out this well-done page: Julia Wicker
  18. I thought it took about 5 or 6 episodes to get rolling. Ultimately its central-plot is about the crew of the Rocinante. Which they don't even get until episode 5 or so. (Don Quixote's horse)
  19. Here is what comicbook.com's writer guessed while visiting the set. DC's Legends of Tomorrow Easter Eggs Revealed That'd be my guess. Look at the very top of the helmet's design.
  20. Yep, it's Syfy-only. Hulu and syfy.com have full episodes, but you have to log "your cable provider" to view. Seems like when other premium-content providers are decoupling from cable (with 'HBO Now' and similar apps) Comcast/Syfy is doubling down. If they screw up by throttling viewership here's hoping Netflix picks it up and runs with it. The Expanse deserves to be seen, with multiple seasons to tell the tale.
  21. +1 Art looks like that "Kids Stuff" episode where the JL were transformed into children.
  22. Okaay. Let's try this again... Space. On tv, highest quality. Pull your heads out. You're welcome.
