  1. Oh...you want some of this TOO Chief? (flexing my guns) Well...enjoy your day. Also...GSABOY. You could call me cracker like one guy once did
  2. One of you needs to add a "chief" or "enjoy your day" to the end of a comment
  3. Awesome. Let's debate clone degradation of yogurt cultures and the possible ramifications to humanity. Let's just hope that mutant yogurt creature doesn't come face to fa.....errr bread with Roy's sandwich that ate Buffalo a few years ago.
  4. One of my favorite covers in the run.. Never cared much for the Creature Commandos but always liked the G.I. Robot
  5. Love B&B 1-24. I only have a couple issues unfortunately. Given available funds, this is one of those runs I've always longed to collect. People can have their muscle bound people in tights. I'll take this stuff instead
  6. There are a few comics that I regret selling. My Bats 251 is one of them. It was a real sweet copy. Perfectly centered with a perfect wrap. The buyer, a boardie named Nik (RIP), bought it and slabbed it. It came back a white paged 9.6. I bought it years ago for almost nothing so I did make money on it but still. He thought it was a going to be a 9.4 tops (The fabled "Nik Bump" I guess . Old timers will know what that means.) But it's okay because I have found other comic deals since then that have offset that goof. Besides, the Bats 232 and 237 I got from the same seller are still mine and they are both easily 9.6s.
  7. Thank you, Gingerus Minimus. May I have another?
  8. I'm more concerned about those market reports that are so short and sparse that they barely say anything of value. One wonders why they are included at all?
  9. Seems like they let almost anyone become one. The last guide I bought (couple years ago), I went through the list and was thinking to myself, "who are half these people and why do they deserve to be advisors?"
  10. I've bought from nearly all of the dealers you mention above and have not had any complaints but that's because they know how to handle their business. You can't say that about every comic book seller, or every seller/retailer of any product. As far as dealers who don't hang around the boards, I look at it as one of two ways, there are those dealers who don't do the whole message board thing and that's why you never see them on comic boards and then there are those who can't stand a little scrutiny, get pissed off and defensive when called on shenanigans and then leave, never to be seen again. They don't learn a damn thing because they have their heads up their asses, can't handle any form of criticism, and rarely accept responsibility. Nobody is perfect and mistakes happen. We all realize that but it's how they handle the mistake that matters. However, if their entire business model is based on not caring whether they screw people, over grade, or don't disclose restoration, then it's not reasonable to expect them to come onto these boards and mea culpa.
  11. This is about as close to old school thread as we get around here these days.
  12. The Global Shipping Program rates are close to extortion and the reason I finally bit the bullet and got a US mailing address. Saves me a lot on shipping AND I get to load up on cheap US gas and junk food. Don't forget the sh*tty beer! Given the craft beer explosion that's going on now in the U.S., there is no excuse to drink crappy mass produced beer anymore.
  13. Eventually the bots will attain AI and then we're all doomed to a flood of fake diploma's, IDs, male enhancement products, and cheap british kitchens
