  1. thanks. Rom is on the list. Heard good things about it Rom is fun.
  2. You sure about this? It really shouldn't as the rings are a part of the case and not the comic. However.... there are people who won't buy slabs that exhibit newton rings. Significant ringing could make the comic less sellable.
  3. <Insert Confused Baby meme> With or without the scumbag hat?
  4. You slabbed comics you need for a signing? Are you planning on cracking them out when you get them back?
  5. Not to worry, Mrmcknowitall will be along shortly to accuse everyone of publicly shaming you.
  6. I suggest we change the "just got here" generic custom title to "stu" Now that's funny
  7. I don't know about best but one of the most fun might be Avengers Annual 10 Epic Avengers battle issue with the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants Imo, one of the best Avengers lineups ever First appearance of Rogue (who after permanently stealing Ms Marvel's powers goes on to drain several Avengers effectively turning her into Superwoman (albeit temporarily) Killer Mike Golden art The only blemish is the less than stellar Milgrom cover
  8. Don't remember. I can't see myself putting a time limit on any poll
  9. I've always had a real soft spot for DCs 50s adventure comics like Frontier Fighters and Legends of Daniel Boone. I think that fascination started when I saw a couple of the covers in the preface of the Fireside book, America At War Anyhoo, I managed to find a copy of Legends of Daniel Boone #6 and then through an ebay seller, got all the other issues in the series in one shot. None of them are high grade (good luck with all that) but I was very happy to get all 8 issues in the series. Several of these were considered scarce/hard to find in the pre-ebay days. Not so much anymore though.
  10. You can have my silly custom. I can just see it now. George Washington is in his carriage waiting for the street lantern to change and another carriage pulls up next to him. He turns to look at the other carriage and the Marquis de Lafayette pokes his head out of the window and says, "pardonnez-moi, mais avez-vous un Grey Poupon?
  11. @dena Pfffft. Clever, but not at all subtle, attempt at a custom title. The coolest kids don't have ANY custom title. You used to have one
  12. How 'bout this? " If I sell the car I just stole, I can up my bid."
  13. It's a noteworthy sale, but 1998 reprints aren't Copper Age. And it's not even the first appearance of Venom. Friggin' ebay seller hucksterism
  14. Pretty much every message board I've ever been on has used titles that change based on your post count. Just wait until you post something funny, or notable, or (hopefully) embarrassing and you'll get a permanent one that never changes
  15. Have Scott set your post count to zero
