  3. Yes, you are expected to put up with this. You know why? Because despite a few people who complain, scads more will still send in their cards. As long as the submission gravy train keeps flowing they have zero incentive to "figure your stuff out" It's quite humorous to hear you card guys complaining about what the comic books guys have been complaining about for well over a decade now Man, I love this card forum @Buzzetta

Can you repeat that please? Ah, thank you. It took me nearly five years to translate this but I got it now.
  5. This guy has the chutzpah to be posting Want To Buy threads and PMing boardies with buy offers.
  6. I am kind of lost on what you are asking. I feel like we are reading two separate sheets of music. I don't deal with any sports cards or comics. I collect misprints for Magic the Gathering and Pokémon. I am primarily a player so I like unique cards for my decks and collection. I can understand how trimming and restoring cards/comics to get a better grade is bad but in my mind its a weird thing to compare it to NFC cards. Not really because to us comic guys, it's a little too close for comfort to trimming. Also, cutting cards from sheets in the sports card hobby is a bad thing too, or at least they were back when I was into sports cards. Cards are cards. The idea that it's okay to cut cards from sheets in MtG but not okay for Pokemon is an odd concept for me. I guess it's a good thing I have no plans to collect pokemon cards
  7. I have always advertised what I sell as NFC to my buyers. In the Magic the Gathering community NFCs are widely accepted and there are well over 1000+ sheets cut into singles in the wild. For some reason the Pokémon community has this idea in their head that everyone who likes NFCs is only trying to scam people and pass the cards off as factory cut misprints. In Magic the Gathering this never happens because everyone is knowledgeable about what cards are NFC and its very hard to fool anyone. In Pokémon everyone is clueless. Its a big controversy right now. Coming from a comic book background there is a lot of stigma shenanagins around alterations made to the product. I am curious if the slabbing companies will grade NFC MtG cards as altered/restored? (not sure how the companies grade altered cards)
  8. You realize that your word choices make it painfully obvious who you are right? Nobody is impressed and if you think you can spread misinformation without suffering any consequences then you are sorely mistaken. I would strongly suggest you stop while you are ahead. So you're saying that hand cutting cards is accepted and allowed within the hobby? Back when I was collecting sports cards it definitely wasn't kosher to do such things. Are you disclosing this to potential buyers? If it were a comic book that would be akin to trimming.
  9. I'd be very interested to know which one passes the smell test
  10. You should have chewed the gum Was the gum sealed in its own package or loose, like in an old wax pack of Topps sports cards?
  11. And it was far more "D&D" than any of the crap series put out by DC. I was so disappointed by those. Actually, any time Dungeons & Dragons was adapted for another medium, the 80s animated series, DC comic books, movies, I've been hugely disappointed.
